Thank you for this vid. Been so long since I installed betaflight I put that new version on my desktop and extracted the folders but forgot the part where clicking on them to install certain one. This should fix my issue
Hi Derek very helpful so far but I'm facing trouble after I click download after I've registered. It says something like "sorry link didn't work" and gives me four options? Sound familiar
Still not working. Can you point us to the specific usb micro data cable you're using? None of my Windows Vms recognize my plethora of cables, nor did my host (Mac).
How would one start from scratch? I've had everything working in the past. I attempted doing firmware update on a jumper radio. That called for a different driver tool now none of my drones will connect. I've uninstalled that other driver tool. Uninstalled everything related to betaflight and reinstalled. Impulse driver tool fixes dfu mode but after a power cycle betaflight says failed to open port. Tried zadig as well. Managed to click the wrong USB device and change the driver to my keyboard so now that don't work either. I'm afraid to touch anything with it right now fearing that things will only get worse. Any suggestions where to go next?
I'm not sure if something has changed in windows but this procedure is not working for me. I have been trying for days to get this to work I'm about to give up and sell all the stuff I just bought. I have tried everything different cables different internet connections even different computers, fixing bricked cellphones is easier then hooking up a quad to betaflight lol. I have not found any information that's has helped so far. Im really suprized it's so difficult to get a bind and fly quad to actually fly.
@@creationlabsinc.189 there turned out to be an easy fix. Just had to uninstall a driver and everything worked fine. There is definitely a learning curve lol. I'm sorry you had to by a mac that's a deal breaker for me lol. I'm glad it made your life easier for fpv though happy flying buddy!
Thank you - But this stuff shouldn't be so complicated! If you download a piece of software all the drivers should come with the software and install with the app or software.
Ok my brother I'm going to try it again tonight when I get home from work I was going to do it on sunday but I just got a package from getfpv and I received a brand new flight controller the f 4 flight controller v 2.15 AIO DC w/o s d . So I don't care if I'm tire I just want to know if I'm doing it correct the other flight controller that I have are the cc3d so now I'm going to do it all over what u just did which i also did but maybe i did something wrong. Lol i will let u know if it work .thank u for the video.
@Derek and his Drone “the shortcut” Will work on a up to date and correct configured (firewall etc) computer in 90% of the cases. A good advice for the masses... would be “the proof is in the pudding”😂
theres something wrong! when i download the link. inside the file "CP210x_Universal_Windows_Driver" it doesnt have those 2 executable files. why?

@@DerekandhisDrone yes and no you don't need to install the drivers pack. That is just the point of the tool..

@Derek and his Drone you are sure that your method works in 100%😂. But he you win👏
What's the tool?
+1👍 good going Derek
or use Linux, no drivers needed :) (just those stupid device rules and usergroups settings )
