That’s usually what happens when someone slows down under the speed limit to 75 km an hour instead of the actual speed limit of 90 you end up getting closer now should I stop and back off or should I just kinda hope that he picks back up his speed When I drive truck? I don’t look at my mirrors unless I’m passing someone most of the time I’m looking forward where I’m going, but like I said to you and other people that commented everybody is open to their opinion I do not discourage any opinion. However, the dash cam I have is terrible. I want one that is clear picture and also has GPS built into it so that it shows my speed that way I can justify what I am saying to the fullest I can’t deny being close to him, however if I spend my whole day backing off of the vehicles that decide they wanna play games it will take me three days to get across Ontario.
Right from the start your 2 seconds behind him. I can count to two. It is frustrating but no sense in putting yourself and equipment in danger even if it's a trailer blow out. We all get in those situations daily. Me I have seen to many things go wrong to fast.
I run 401 daily between Montreal and Kingston and agree 100% it’s a death trap on the roads. I’ve been very close to being side swiped more times than I can remember and had to call OPP many times to report dangerous driving. I get that dash cams aren’t always the best at showing what the naked eye sees however I really don’t think his driving was all that bad. Also I know many will either buy a non gps or disable the speed logging in the dash cam. I suggest you get it on there because that would have clearly proved his brake checking and you needing to hit the brakes. But even at that you can’t prove there wasnt someone directly in front of him making him hit his brakes and then the question becomes why were you so close. Bottom line is I think freight rates are crap because there’s an abundance of “new” drivers. It’s the whole supply and demand scenario and us long time truckers are have been around and seen a lot and this is the worst it’s ever been. We’re tired and short tempered because these guys took advantage of a market that was easy to infiltrate
The reason I would end up so close behind him and I’m not trying to act myself up but it’s because he kept slowing down to 75 km an hour when it is a 90s zone and it seems to be a lot of the time they will do that in non-passing line just to Play a game that’s what it is with these people again, but people’s lives are at risk when they play these stupid games and yes, I will be getting a better dash cam as mine is a cheap outdated version
With all the foreign drivers on the road in Canada and the states they have given us a bad name. I have also seen a difference in attitude from the four wheelers.
You know what? There wouldn't be as many foreign drivers if americans would drive. See, you're blaming the drivers , but it's the theiving shippers to blame. That's why more than 1 million us citizens have CDLs but don't drive. So enough with tbe sad racist trash. You're not going to fix the problem that way. No american drivers are why they hire from outside our country . Duh!
@@destinationtrucker - I watched you, kind of, complain and whine about the the other truckers driving for the entire vid and I didn't see him doing anything terrible. He was following other traffic so you weren't going anywhere anyways. His reaction was appropriate for some Kevin knocking on his window to tell him he did not know how to drive. Fact, not opinion. You must be upset alot and should maybe think about a newline of work.
@@BobM.-to9ji Agreed!I am a trucker myself and if one of the easiest thing to do is drive so not sure besides people with anger issues would complain through any of what I just seen. Heck as a trucker there is so much worse I've seen including trucks going down a one way highway and they were let go by the rcmp as they said he was just lost. is that not what we do as truckers go to places we have never been without driving down the opposite side of the road and that was one of many over a 8 year term.
The driver ahead probably has a low horsepower engine because he gets loses speed going up the hills. Then super trucker is tailgating him so the other driver is checking his mirrors way more often waiting for him to pull a bonehead move. He is weaving in the lane a lot and should worry more about improving his own driving than trying to complain about others.
@ every opinion matters, however at the end of the day, there was no reason for him to stop in the middle of the parking lot of the flying J, and when I questioned him about it, there was no reason for him to attack me, but like I said, everybody has an opinion

Stay off hwy 11 . i bobtailed from edmonton to toronto snow storm in ontario they dont run hwy 17 . most chicken $hitt wont drive 17 . in the winter
