In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about the entanglement between the Mughal empire and Sikhism. In 1605 after the death of Mughal emperor Akbar, a battle of succession ensued between Khusro Mirza and Salim aka Jahangir. After Jahangir sat on the throne of Agra, Khusro rebelled and went to Lahore. During this journey, Khusro met with 5th Sikh Guru Arjan dev. Jahangir ordered Arjan dev to be jailed where he was tortured and subsequently died. Khusro spent his life in Jail and was killed by Shahjahan later. Watch the complete video to know the full story .

Please also do a Tarikh on the Sikh holocaust by Abdali in the year Feb 1762 where more than 30k Sikh men women and children were massacred by faujdars of Abdali and His Afghan forces and how Sikhs bounced back within 2 months and defeated all Abdali generals and Abdali driven back to Kabul forever. Would love you to present it as unfortunately national school curriculum of history does not cover it.

ओर गुरु अर्जुन साहिब जी की शहीदी के लिए हिंदू मुस्लिम दोनों चंदू, पिरथी,ओर जाहागीर जिम्मेदार थे।
चंदू बृहमण की बेटी का रिश्ता गुरु ने मना कर दिया था ओर जाहागीर को गुरु गृंथ , सिखों ओर गुरु अर्जुन साहिब जी से आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने की समस्या थी
3 गुरु अर्जुन साहिब जी को जो काजी ने सज़ा सुनाई कि इनको ऐसे मोत दो पर खून धरती पर नहीं गिरना चाहिए। गुरु जी को कैद में रखा गया तसीहे दिया गया गरम तवी पर बैठा दिया गया ओर फिर दरीया के किनारे बिठा कर पथर मारे गए और सास खत्म होने पर नदी में फेंक दिया गया
