- Welcome back to the Dream Automotive RUclips channel, in this weeks video we're back in Doncaster to collect our newly PPF'd FL5 Civic Type R from the guys at WrapGuard! We take a good look at our FL5's new look now it is fully protected in ProFilm's Diamond Green PPF!
Now the FL5 is back in our hands, we're not wasting any time! We dive straight back into modifications, this time with the Milltek Sport Exhaust System, a Turbosmart BOV and some Honda Access Wind Deflectors!

“We’ve wrapped this” in a color we’re not telling you. “We’re also going to put it on the dyno, and not tell you if the exhausts made a difference.”

Regarding the exhaust, testing is ongoing and the results will be shared tomorrow at 11:45am BST in another video! 😁
Shame the Dyno results have to been shared. Very odd, why even bother to show the process!

@@DreamAutomotive Just realized this was replied to. With the look of the headlights I was really wanting something along the lines of Midnight Purple. But that color I think is more deserved and original for a GTR which I will own one day.
@@Xchax3 ProFilm do offer this style PPF in many different colours, other than the green! A purple effect over the black would look 🔥🔥

They would fit however Spoon have release FL5 specific springs. We imagine the spring rates will be slightly different!

Is it just me or are the exhaust tips not evenly spaced? i love the sound of this exhaust but those tips being like that would do my head in... wish it had the quailty of the apexi one it looks amazing but is quiet
What’s the specific color for that wrap or can I get link to purchase?
It's actually a clear PPF film from ProFilm called Green Diamond! It has been applied over the original black paint and has a colour changing effect, resulting in the green 🙌
So this color change look same on every color or different attributes on different base color?
It is heavily dependent on the base colour, we can't imagine it working very well on light colours.
It's very nearly invisible but the red H badge on the front of our FL5 is also wrapped in the PPF and the effect is quite difficult to see.

The car itself looks great! Adding wind deflectors just makes it worse 😅
Wind deflectors do not make a car look worse. I have them on my civic which hides the chrome and make it look a lot meaner with my aftermarket tinted taillight and tinted windows. But hey to each their own.

That's a sketchy dyno. I wouldn't have shared the results either 😆

You know what really annoys me....... its a £50k with LED lights everywhere and the rear indicator is just a normal bulb!

I think it’s paint protection film which instead of being clear has a metallic green candy effect. When it’s laid on the black paintwork this is the effect you get.
Hello! Dave is correct, rather than a vinyl wrap it is a colour change paint protection film. It is clear until applied to the car, it's like magic! 😁 Thank you for watching!

Aren't wind deflectors for people who smoke with their window down while it's raining? I immediately associate wind deflectors with trashy people and think they look horrific on any car.
Also allow you to have your windows down slightly even when it's raining and not let water in
Each to their own, we like the OEM+ style of them. As Sam mentioned, they're also to allow you to have the window down a little bit when it's raining, without getting wet! Thanks for watching 😁
