My great grandmother was Irish, like fresh off the boat Irish, and she cooked like that while I was growing up in Tennessee. We tried to take care of her for as long as we could after she developed Alzheimer's but it eventually got to the point where she needed 24/7 specialized care, so she ended up in a wonderful nursing home. I shit you not, this woman was so used to cooking for so many people that she would tell us at her lunch time in the cafeteria that she didn't remember inviting so many people over, but was sure glad she had cooked enough food for everyone and hoped nobody "went home hungry." Not only did your bit make me laugh, it brought back great memories of one hell of a woman that I miss dearly. Bless you, Mike, keep doing what you do!
Whenever I miss home, &/or "the old days", I listen or watch your stuff! I love it. I'm not even from NJ but it always makes me feel at home (Altoona PA). EXACTLY! Keep up the great work, warms my heart!
Mike I love your show. I've seen you twice live and I could never get enough. Keep up the great work. Infact I always listened to your cd whole on long trips. I turned my GF onto you and she got to see when you were@the Beefstake for the Wyckoff,NJ Fire department. It was awesome! Like I said before keep up the great work.
@@MikeMarinoLive this really brought back some great memories! Our families were very much alike! Please come to Sarasota and if you do, you’re invited for dinner!!
Mike, you never disappoint my friend. Every time I watch it costs me half a box of Kleenex I’m laughing so hard! I’ll send you the bill for 15 years of Kleenex! Keep rolling brother, the Smith family are a loyal Mike Marino fan club! -Dave from AC
