@@RedSkylinex60 maybe, but Colorado used another voice other than Tom in July 2006 but Ohio used Tom in April 2006, Colorado is a state that uses too many voices in EAS
There is another recording of Tom in a storm chase video from May 30 2003. I recently added it to my Old NOAA weather radio storm chases and old EAS playlist. I also remember a storm chase vid from June 2003 with Tom on NWR but I can't remember which one it was. This remains the oldest recording of Tom I've seen.
RIP CRS Tom
2003-2016 you were the key ingredient of the EAS and NOAA Weather Radio
Correction: It's WXEL Channel 42, West Palm Beach.
Furthermore... WFXL is the Fox affiliate in Albany, Georgia...
What show is this?
One of the earliest recordings of Tom
This is the earliest recording of Tom I've ever heard
Florida might have been the first to switch to Tom.

Has anybody been able to make a guess on the character generator used?
The character generator is a Chyron Codi.
