I'm 100% with you on this, Applefan. Even with the benefit of slow-motion, I don't see a but-end. Furthermore, I'd go on to say that he didn't leave his feet either. Yes, one foot was in the air, but for a call to be made both feet need to be free of the ice before initial contact and the video clearly shows he still had one foot planted at contact. I'm not sure what hockey this guy alleges to have played, but it wasn't a league that used the NHL rulebook. If he played, then he should know the rules... This "take" was worse than an AI generated clip.

My theory is once a player makes over 10M in the NHL, their team is already doomed. They are saying that despite minimal or zero playoff success, they are worth MORE than every player ever to win a cup. No one is more guilty of this than the core 4 in Toronto, and they aren’t even tough, gritty or very competitive at all when the playoffs start.

the coyle penalty isnt a non penalty, they changed that rule a while ago, even if you make contact with the puck first, tripping is still tripping
