The feathers on them look insane and their designs are spectacular. We needed more paleo-accurate pre-historic species and we got them.
Well not all them are paleo accurate in this dlc

Actually, that's Jeholopterus, a close relative of Anurognathus. Says so on the Steam page.

Either way, I reskin and rename some species in my parks to be closely related species (such as Austroraptor to Megaraptor, Megalosaurus to Torvosaurus, Brachiosaurus to Sauroposeidon, and Barbaridactylus to Nyctosaurus)

Austroraptor was a Dromaeosaur from Argentina, Astralovenator was a Megaraptoran from Australia
Oh my god frontier this is what we needed! I love how these dinosaurs fit in jurassic world but still have a healthy level of paleoaccuracy! Also amazing choice of creatures! Well done team :D
Feathers aren't paleoaccurate but oh well.

@Vaal Alves first, obviously it depends on which dinosaur/reptile you're talking about but generally yes, feathers are paleoaccurate on a lot of small dinosaurs, some medium ones and even a few of the larger ones. Secondly I wasn't just referencing the feathers, for example the yutyranus has lips which very few creatures in the game do and dinosaurs with lips feel more like animals than monsters to me
All the animals in the dlc have all been discovered with evidence of feathers, so its not really a debate. As for the type of feathers used, they all look all good to me I don't really get what wrong

Yutyrannus was on my wishlist as far back as the first game's announcement, I'm glad to finally see it in action here!
It would be sweet if they added in feathers cosmetic/gene options for most of the theropod dinosaurs in this game (the small ones such as the ornithomimids and raptors especially).

Yutyrannus has a name that translates as ‘feathered tyrant’ due to it being one of the largest known feathered dinosaurs to eat meat. It has a striking nasal crest used for display purposes, and a light yet dense coat to provide insulation when the temperature drops.
Jeholopterus is an impressively quick and nimble flying reptile, and the smallest airborne species in the entire game. Palaeontologists have found only one specimen to date, but it ranks among the best preserved of any pterosaur, giving us a fascinating insight into its looks and behaviour.
Deinocheirus is one of the largest ornithomimosaurs ever discovered, with arms longer than those of any bipedal dinosaur. This distinctive prehistoric species, with its duck-like bill and broad hump on its back, cuts an intimidating figure, despite foraging exclusively on plants.
Sinosauropteryx, a small, meat-eating dinosaur covered with delicate, hair-like feathers and waving a striped tail. Sinosauropteryx works together to hunt in packs. It was discovered in 1996, and its ancient remains were the first to not only suggest the existence of feathered dinosaurs, but hint at their potential to have colouration.

Now This Is Totally Something That Jurassic World Fans/Evolution Fans Want.
I literally ran around my entire house because I SAW A DEINOCHEIRUS! I am squealing in joy! Please tell me this new feathered carnivore can fight all ceratopsians, stegosaurids and anyklosaurids! I want to pair it with Pachyrhinosaurus in the Sierra Nevada map so badly!

Yutyrannus was a medium sized theropod that likely hunted very small creatures, It didn't full on fight with large herbivores.
I literally just finished Prehistoric Planet and loved the deinocheirus in it. Now it's coming to the game!!!
These all look great but the important question is: Will Jeholopterus attack helicopters :P
This message to Frontier, I just want to say thank you so much for adding this new feathered DLC Pack. I always wanted more feathered creatures into the game, and with the ones from Dominion (although not fully accurate but it works with me), I was anticipating more feathered dinosaurs. Not only do these four creatures (Deinocheirus, Sinosauropteryx, Yutyrannus and Anurognathus) have feathers, they also have this Jurassic World and Paleoaccurate feel which I genuinely love so much. Frontier, keep up the amazing work that you do, as always! :D

According the the jwe 2 website apparently the flying reptile is jeholopterus
They should include feather customizations for other dinosaurs in that game such as raptors and ornithomimids, and of course other reptiles all pterosaurs..
hope we get feathered Rex color options with the accompannying free update, itd be perfect
Anurognathus is the Bat pterosaur in this game, they gave him feathers that looks like bat ears, so creative!

if you don't know battra is a kaiju from the godzilla saga, he appeared in godzilla VS mothra 1992.
Although it seems that here they only know the zzzzverse.
Yet more evidence that Frontier's creature design team should be designing the new canon species for the film franchise.

the sinocrops is such a random and obscure addition it was just disovered like 2 years ago and we're already getting the tiny little insectivore
Jeholopterus, not Sinomacrops.
I just hope that the Deinocheirus isn't gonna be like the Theri, because in-game, the Theri looks like it can easily take down a medium or maybe a large carnivore, but, it just can't. Hopefully they'll change that soon.

As a paleo-accurate dinosaur person myself and knowing I have a big collection of Jurassic World toys, I know this pack is the next dlc I want. I have the Early Cretaceous DLC and the Camp Cretaceous DLC. Feathered Species Pack is the next one I need!

It’d be lovely if we got an update allowing the other Dinosaurs to have skins making them more Paleo-Accurate. But we have Prehistoric Kingdom for that

I don’t understand why everyone is bashing the accuracy on these, they all look really good and from this trailer it looks like they hold up. There isn’t pronated wrists, the species in the pack all have evidence of plumage, and the anatomy looks correct.
I don’t know what you mean because I don’t see any bashing and at best whatever exists is minimal af. :P

redwood trees and snow on any map would be nice instead of select few. will really be awesome for variety in each park. water depth for spino and deinocheirus would be awesome. other than that this is a good pack

I look forward to the new dlc but this is a prediction for the 30th anniversary of jurassic park we'd like have miroceratus, segisaurus, Hadrosaurus and skin variants of dinosaurs that were in the novel of jurassic park.
