Beautiful condo. Across from gorgeous Grace Cathedral too. Nob Hill is 💜💙💚.
@LyranSoul - thanks for your comment and I completely agree. This home and the location across from Grace Cathedral really transports you straight to Paris!
Lovely. Likely sold for higher than the listed price.
@Cletus_the_Elder thanks for your comment. I agree; such a lovely property. It ended up selling at $1,293,000, which was about 2% below the list price.
Love this apartment. Go past it all the time on the bus. The only thing I would change is the bathroom. That tile is hideous. The shallow cupboard in the kitchen probably once held a pull-down ironing board. I still have one in my apartment. Too bad there's no elevator, which is probably why the price isn't higher. By the way, the water is more than "a few blocks away" but it's a quick trip by bus or cable car.
@kirahastings9900 - thanks for commenting! Many people came to see this unit when it was on the market, because they always admired the building’s exterior. I agree about the cupboard and yes, the tile seems out of place for this aesthetic.
I love the tile in the bathroom!
For 1.3 mil you should get closet doors.
Hi @jessiejoseph1093. Thanks for commenting. For those walk-through closets in small spaces, it's common for them to be open like this property. Someone could conceivably install sliding doors in there if they were so inclined.
Beautiful, elegant, romantic. My only question is whether there is an elevator?
@dolorescordell129 - thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, there’s not an elevator in this building. That is the one drawback of this property. If there’s something you’re looking for specifically, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help! 805-451-3262.
Thanks and great area. Music may be a bit OTT?
@scottgregory885, thanks for your comment, and noted about the music! I'll have to go back and rewatch it. 👍
@@tonyknott17 thank you for taking no offence with this! Great channel :)
Thanks @scottgregory885! I appreciate it as well as the feedback - can only help me improve the channel!
That jazz is fantastic! @@tonyknott17django reinhardt? anyway, love it!
@sleepycalico -Thank you! Not Django Reinhardt; just stock music, but it does sound similar!
Property taxes?
@minavanderleest9493 - thanks for your comment. At the list price, property taxes would be approximately $9,380.
I know this area, there's a lot of violent homeless people around here and the crime is getting out of control
Hi @2maw1wrimke - this property is on the very top of Nob Hill. Although there’s certainly issues with homelessness and crime in parts of San Francisco, this neighborhood is not one of them.
Exactly, not a safe area.
I am a 78 year old woman and I walk around this neighborhood all the time and I feel very safe and I have never had a problem.
@skeeterm2162 - this area is completely safe. There are areas of San Francisco I’d advise people to avoid, but not here.
@GloriaJudd66 - agreed. Nice to have a local’s perspective, thank you!
….why did the Owner move out would be my question? It’s lovely, but the city isn’t lovely anymore. I really feel it’s our Johannesburg, SA after Aparthied. It’s an unlivable city with crime everywhere. I don’t SF coming back. ………but you’re not in Europe, and Europe isn’t the picture of tranquility either….
@Belladvid1000, thanks for your comment. The owners are moving to Marin (just across the Golden Gate Bridge), as they've outgrown the space. I would disagree about San Francisco, however. I hear this type of comment often, and frankly much of it is driven by the mass media. San Francisco certainly has its issues, but nothing like the crime-infested wasteland that it's been unfairly portrayed as. I've been to Johannesburg and Cape Town, SA - following Apartheid - and I can tell you it's absolutely nothing like that.
I live in San Francisco and have for 50 years. The downtown Union Square area has been ravaged and the media focuses their attention on that area of the city. The neighborhoods are intact and vibrant. I happened upon this open house by accident. I parked and was walking to the Fairmont for lunch. This condo is to die for. If I were younger I would not hesitant a second to buy this property. Personally, I think it is underpriced. It is spacious, it is elegant, the view is fabulous, and it does have a Parisian vibe, which I love.
Thanks for your comment, Gloria. And it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with you at the open house!
Give it a rest!
Tiny closed off little rooms. So sick of living here. I HATE the style of Edwardian and Victorian homes, they are awful.
@user-xp2yx5mx7p - thanks for commenting. This building is almost 125 years old. The way people lived then is so different compared to now. And you're right, Edwardian and Victorian styles don't appeal to everyone. If you're looking for a different style and space, feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to try to help.
Move to Texas.
