    Kamala has had a great start. She's knocking it out of the park. I like how she is already rounding out the stump speech. In terms of the economic message, they need to have a few bullets regarding the infrastructure package, the money that brought into individual states, and the projects and jobs that were spawned from that. A line like, "if you're working on a road, bridge, etc project right now and earning, a lot of that is due to the infrastructure package we put together, that the other guy couldn't get done.." They need to bring it home for voters..

    Good, sensible comments about sexist comments not going away & to expect more. Prepare, rather than whining, “This isn’t fair.”

    Since PBS allows no comments on its videos on RUclips I will have to opine here to say I think Jonathan Capehart is what we call in sports a 'homer'. That means an announcer who always says the most positive comments for the home team that he works for. We had one in Philadelphia Flyers with Don Earle. At any rate, Capehart ALWAYS has positive things to say for the Democrats and NEVER negative things. He is so good at cherry picking the successes of the Biden ticket, and I AM AN AVOWED DEMOCRAT! But it feels so slanted as to be almost meaningless and almost boring, like a DJ who only plays the TOP 10 HITS, over and over!!

    For every time WE hear the orange CONMAN mispronounce Kamala's name, WE must respond...so SHE doesn't have to...by mispronouncing the CONMAN's NAME...."Don-OLD" So Kamala doesn't have to...SHE's got much more important things to do and think about, let's make sure she KNOWS WE HAVE HER BACK! LET's MAKE SURE SHE CAN ***FEEL THE RESPECT*** WE PUT ON HER NAME!

      I love President Biden, but couldn’t be happier that he stepped aside. But, I did shed a few tears when he called in to Kamala’s event. The warmth they have for each other really came through.

      I can, at 72, understand the 2016 anxiety very well. However, I think it was a brilliant move on Biden's and the Democratic party's part to move in this direction. Biden is America's Hero! What a great move. And Harris is a hidden gem! She's smart moral in touch with the real world and we're really lucky to have her! Bravo Democrats. VOTE BLUE 2024. SAVE THE DAMNED WORLD. IT'S A BIG F'ING DEAL!

      Biden deserves our gratitude for his years of service, especially the last 3 1/2 years and especially for saving us from another Trump presidency. None of this, though, entitles him to another 4 year term. Many, many of us held back our dismay when he declared his candidacy for another term, but when the evidence began to mount that the ravages of age were significantly robbing him of the stamina and skills needed to run and win again, we had to speak up and we had to act. He never should’ve tried to run again. Any tears I shed were from relief that now we have a chance to defeat the evil orange one.

    After listening to Jonathan for weeks about how Biden was going to stay in the race and should stay in the race thank God we didn't listen to him. I only wish he wasn't our liberal voice on the PBS NewsHour. Sorry JC. 🥱

      Jonathan does come across immature, blind and hostile to *any* criticism of democrats. Very fox news style approach to discussion or debate that may not be good for the partisan times we are in right now.

    • @Bluesbreaker-uf8ti
      @Bluesbreaker-uf8ti Месяц назад

      @@additect 100% People like David Brooks want the Democrats to address their problems so there isn't a Trump 2nd term. People like Capehart want to live in a fantasy land where everything with the Dems is fine, which will almost certainly result in a Trump 2nd term.
