I'm loving your reactions. Just a note: In the US, we're used to celebrities talking themselves up, so we think Jin is serious when he talks about how handsome he is, but for Koreans, vanity and bragging are practically cardinal sins, so it's immediately just funny. That's why he does it: it makes people laugh, and Jin is all about trying to make other people comfortable and happy. 🙂
Jin is so often in the thick of things, he makes me laugh so much! They're all so entertaining though.
That song that Jin did...it actually sort of sounds like that. Now, I don't speak Korean very well, but I think he killed it. If you haven't heard the original, it's called 'Loner' by Outsider. I HIGHLY recommend listening to it. I smile every time I hear it because of Jin. Highly recommend.
thanks for this... it's really disheartening when reactors who don't know an ounce of Korean refer to Jin's version of this as "gibberish" because the tannies themselves have acknowledged Jin actually does this song well (considering he's not a rapper and this song is really fast-paced)
@@Charm313 Yeah, when you think about it, those of us who don't know Korean well would never know if he WAS speaking gibberish or not. Or he could be nailing every word (which is probably closer to the truth). I love listening to the original, but I always smile because of Jin. One day, someday, I'll be able to tell what he's saying in the moment and not just knowing in a general sense what the lyrics are supposed to mean. Hopefully. Maybe. Korean is hard for English speakers because it's so different. But damn if I'm not trying my hardest. It's really a beautiful language (and not just because BTS speaks it). The more I learn, the more I enjoy hearing it. And I already loved the way it sounded when I first listened to BTS. But Loner is a great song. Thank you BTS for introducing me to it.
