My man, thank you... I've had a few folks get in touch with me asking for advice, I finally got the time to sit in studio and do this, glad I could help bruv, happy mixing.
Hi Sandri, it's a pity that this has happened, I don't work for Pioneer and they don't reimburse me for my time and effort in any way, but after doing some research it seems there is a communication error, and you would need to contact an authorized service centre in your region, after following this link forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/16420266903705-DJM-A9-Not-Working , it seems two folks have similar issues, 1 straight out the box, from what I understand it's a software error, there's no ways it would be hardware unless your device has taken a pounding, in your case, something went wrong while the update was running, perhaps your USB had a virus, was old, something you had on it interfered with the upload, if your device switched off while the update was running, this could play a big role. Assuming your thumb drive is new, had nothing on other than the update software and your device never switched off during the update, then it's a glitch in the software from Pioneer, they will never admit to it and only have you trouble shoot the problem with back and fourth emails, best thing to do is go to an authorised dealer and explain exactly what went wrong. Apologies bruv.
Thanks my friend, this has been driving me nuts!
Liked and subbed :)
