That was ridiculous bro! I was cracking up on how much you had to work for it with that paddle board and those pilings. That was seriously so cool. The only time I've ever caught a snook even close to that big was at night under the bridge. You're crushing it bro!
The access to the area that the power board afforded you was worth it, but it looked very chaotic (holding the fish while trying to paddle and navigate) because it's so much smaller than your boat. So, a bit of a tradeoff, but in the end you persevered and won the day with that absolute beautiful fish. Congrats. Already looking forward to the next video!!

That was an awesome epic fight on the L2, I enjoyed watching it. I have the L2 myself and I know just how insane and chaotic those fights can be. I have a measuring tape on my paddle that I bought from Amazon that goes to 40”. The numbers aren’t easy to read on camera but it shows clearly if it’s over 40”. “Redfish Pattern Self Adhesive Measuring Ruler Tape 40 inch Long Printed Sticker Boat”

What length leader do you generally use for snook?
Depends on structure, minimum of 4 feet, but if I’m fishing docks, I will use up to 20 feet
