The Labour leader asked two protesters holding a banner saying 'No more U-turns. Green new deal!' to 'let me finish'. He told the pair he would speak to them afterwards as they accused of him of going back on his £28bn green prosperity plan, before being led off stage by security.

There is no real difference between Labour and the Tories. They both put a Brexit ball and chain around the UK which makes the UK seem like a flaccid rudderless flop with no leverage to become solid and taken seriously. Size does seem to matter.

    • @greatfox6495

Brexit should be undone but ask yourself this "If Labour began the process to rejoin the EU once in power what is the point to the EU if the Tories got into power again and just stopped and/or reversed it again?". Until the Tories stop backing brexit it will be hard to rejoin. I cannot be 100% certain but maybe Labour are looking to rejoin but need show the limits of brexit britain.

The usual clueless young crowd who know nothing about life making impossible demands. Everything they are asking for will make the average person poorer. We will need fossil fuels for decades yet, as the alternative technology is still only very basic and under- developed. Hopefully in the future new technologies will come along to improve the situation. We can’t have the whole country covered in gigantic windmills to provide our energy, we need something far more efficient in output and much more miniaturised. These will come along I am sure, but in the meantime we need to use fossil fuels to support the production of these future technologies.
