We didn’t oppose building fence. All we said that you can’t build fence in no man’s land. So if you wanna build fence go ahead and build in your land. But in no mans land Both countries have no right t build fence.
@@MohammadHassan-k1p Not all fencing can be cleanly done on exact demarcation. Which is why where the agreement was signed to build parts where it is easier to build it in no man's land. Its not like this no mans land is a wide strip. And this was signed off by bangladesh already. If Bangladesh does not want to honor agreements.. Should India withdraw its border agreement where it cumulatively gave bangladesh a large chunk of land to clean up the border mess? Bangladesh is acting pretty stupid right now because if you cancel agreements so can India and take back the land that was given.
@@MohammadHassan-k1p RUclips and their comment deletion. Short answer, geography dictates where you can fence. There was a written agreement on this to fence in no mans land where it made more sense. If bangladesh does not want to honor any agreements, should India also reject the border settlement and take back huge portions of land that was transferred to bangladesh to settle the messy border? Why should a larger country transfer land to settle border with a smaller country? it was originally done because of good relationship but now bangladesh does not want one, nor does it want to honor any agreement done with hasina government, so why should land transfer done during hasina government stand? by the same logic. Put a fence in the middle of no mans land and a second one near your lines. make a road in either side to patrol the border. Its that simple to manage this. Why does bangladesh want to make this complicated?well, we know the real reason.. given the same irrational reason why goods check for those coming from pakistan was canceled and the minister who was involved in smuggling arms to terrorists was released and pardoned last month. There is not much to guess who is incharge in bangladesh right now.

Yumus govt is making BGB behave like this for 3 reasons: 1. In BD nothing sells like Anti-India tirade. So if BGB and BSF have a bloody clash, deadbodies will help Yunus divert attention from his failure. 2. BGB's such tough stand will drive home their point that Hasina was soft on India and new govt is tough on India. 3. Having scope of smugling helps their economy- getting goods from India by sumgling gold/drugs in place of USD. Unless India takes a tough stand, BD will keep on creating such issues. To start with ask BD to clear all electricity dues, they r not paying 200+ crore to Tripura inspite of having better forex reserve now.
They are not attacking. India wants a soft diplomacy, so treats them with soft hands. Time to shift the mentality and treat them in a bit more strict fashion.

India was always a deep sleeper. It won't wake up until something happens. Fencing border, and that too such a sensitive Bangla-India border, should have been done a long ago. If your borders are not secured then how can you manage internal security? Porous border and involvement of security personnel, and uncooperative state government makes the situation worse and raises the credibility question. India needs to secure her borders on high note!

India of course has the right to build a fence within it territory beyond the no man's land. All is needed is a clear dialogue between the governments. Both India and Bangladesh have already initiated diplomatic talks - that's the right thing to do. This issue will be solved swiftly and amicably. But it's understandable, palki makes a serious issue of it. After all, an entertainer needs to create drama to earn her living.
This fencing should have been done long time back, why was the current Government and previous Governments sleeping on this ?? We know the diabolical threats we face from such neighbors !!!
### Unequal Water Sharing and Regional Tensions India's upstream dam construction and control over shared rivers have long fueled resentment in Bangladesh, as it directly affects downstream water flow, especially during critical agricultural seasons. The claim that India arbitrarily opens dams, causing flash floods in Bangladesh, underscores the imbalance in water-sharing agreements. Now, China is employing similar tactics against India on rivers shared between the two, highlighting the hypocrisy of such policies. If India demands fair water-sharing rights with China, why deny the same to Bangladesh? ### Corruption Allegations and Sheikh Hasina's Controversial Rule Sheikh Hasina's government has been accused of laundering billions of dollars abroad and suppressing democratic freedoms. Reports of election rigging, student killings, and political oppression tarnish her legacy. These allegations demand global attention, yet India's continued support for her regime undermines its moral and diplomatic standing. Why support a leader accused of siphoning $292 billion abroad while millions in Bangladesh struggle for survival? ### Economic Interdependence and Risks to Farmers The proposal to halt exports to Bangladesh would have dire consequences for Indian farmers, who depend on the Bangladeshi market. A supply surplus within India would collapse prices, pushing farmers further into poverty. Meanwhile, Bangladesh would source goods from other countries, weakening India's trade position and creating room for competitors like China to strengthen ties in the region. Maintaining healthy trade relations is not just beneficial but essential for both nations' economies. ### Border Killings and Anti-Bangladesh Sentiments The ongoing violence at the India-Bangladesh border, particularly by the Border Security Force (BSF), exacerbates tensions and fosters mistrust. Bangladesh has repeatedly voiced concerns over killings, yet India has failed to address these issues. This behavior not only isolates India diplomatically but also fuels anti-India sentiments within Bangladesh. ### Biased Media and Eroding Credibility Indian media, often labeled as "Godi Media," is widely criticized for spreading biased narratives, particularly against Bangladeshi minorities. International fact-checking organizations and outlets like *The Economist* have exposed these falsehoods, damaging India's credibility on the global stage. A free and fair press is essential for a democracy; without it, India's influence weakens both regionally and globally. ### Recommendations for Conflict Resolution: 1. **Fair Water Sharing**: India must honor agreements like the Ganges Water Treaty and engage in equitable water-sharing practices. Denying water to Bangladesh while accusing China of similar behavior reflects poorly on India's leadership. 2. **Accountability for Corruption**: International investigations into Sheikh Hasina’s alleged corruption and repression should be supported, ensuring justice for the people of Bangladesh. 3. **Trade Continuity**: Halting exports to Bangladesh would hurt Indian farmers more than it would harm Bangladesh. Trade ties must be preserved to safeguard both economies. 4. **Ending Border Violence**: The BSF must be held accountable for border killings, and India should work with Bangladesh to establish protocols that prevent further violence. 5. **Neutral Media**: Indian media must adhere to international standards of journalism to rebuild credibility and foster trust among neighboring countries. 6. **Reevaluating Foreign Policy**: India must prioritize rebuilding trust with neighbors like Bangladesh to prevent regional isolation. Fair diplomacy, not coercion, will ensure long-term stability. India's actions in the region are under scrutiny, and continuing down the path of unequal policies and biased narratives risks isolating it further.
India created BD, and wants BD as a subdued enslaved nation. Well, the myth of abolishing TWO NATION THEORY is sinked in Bay of Bengal, and now Pakistan, Bengladesh and China have joined hands to break India, and rightfully so, into many smaller and better manageable parts. OOM SHANTI OOM!
@@MitchellSantner1 Bro says it was always weak since 2014, while in fact, this is the strongest we have ever been. The only problem with the central government right now is that they're following the "Vishwaguru" policies and do not want to engage in direct War (which is what the US and China want the most). If you're not aware of politics, don't speak for it. If Banglads attack the border, the army would take immediate actions.

Bangladesh has no objection to the construction of fencing if it respects bilateral agreements and international laws. The Indira-Mujib Agreement of 1974 must be strictly adhered to, particularly the restriction on construction within 150 yards of the zero line. Recent unauthorized activities and violations of these agreements have raised concerns. Bangladesh urges India to refrain from provocative actions that could escalate tensions. Unilateral activities undermine the spirit of cooperation between the two nations.
Why should we respect agreements we signed with mujib when you declared him to be worthless? The day you released al-qaeda terrorists from prison and threatened Hindus, all agreements were torn up.
This agreement was updated when modi and haseena signed another agreement as per that agreement India gave most of it's enclaves to bangladesh. As per the updated agreement, india can build a fence within 100m of zero line

Its a new Bangladesh and a new educated class not the one you have fooled all these years through print and electronic media ! India needs to come out of the mind set of dictating its neighbors....Times have changed, Palki Sharma !!
Why not speak the truth? During Sheikh Hasina's regime, Bangladesh often appeared to act as a puppet for India. There are numerous recent examples to support this claim. For instance, India maintained control over the Kodala River-a 5 km stretch that belongs to Bangladesh-for years, yet the BSF and the Hasina government failed to address the issue. India and Bangladesh signed an MoU in 1975 to manage and maintain peace along their shared border. So why violate that agreement and push for the construction of fences just 20 yards from the border? India’s strained relationships with all its neighbors raise serious questions. If every bordering country has issues with India, perhaps the problem lies with India itself. For the past 16 years, Bangladesh has often conformed to India’s expectations, acting in ways that could be perceived as submissive. Now, as Bangladesh asserts its rightful and fair demands, India labels us as radicals. We, the people of Bangladesh, desire a peaceful and respectful relationship with India-not one based on submission or subjugation.
They don't want fencing because their people won't be able to ENTER India ILLEGALLY 😂

Why dhaka does not want to fense. Well they are inviting pakistan, and canceling all checks on things coming in pakistan. That should answer the whole thing, why bangladesh wants open border.
If it get fenced, how will bangladeshi and Rohingyas enter delhi?

So if BGB and BSF have a bloody clash, deadbodies will help Yunus divert attention from his failure. 2. BGB's such tough stand will drive home their point that Hasina was soft on India and new govt is tough on India. 3. ### Unequal Water Sharing and Regional Tensions
India's upstream dam construction and control over shared rivers have long fueled resentment in Bangladesh, as it directly affects downstream water flow, especially during critical agricultural seasons.
### Corruption Allegations and Sheikh Hasina's Controversial Rule
Sheikh Hasina's government has been accused of laundering billions of dollars abroad and suppressing democratic freedoms.
### Economic Interdependence and Risks to Farmers
The proposal to halt exports to Bangladesh would have dire consequences for Indian farmers, who depend on the Bangladeshi market.
### Border Killings and Anti-Bangladesh Sentiments
The ongoing violence at the India-Bangladesh border, particularly by the Border Security Force (BSF), exacerbates tensions and fosters mistrust. Bangladesh has repeatedly voiced concerns over killings, yet India has failed to address these issues. This behavior not only isolates India diplomatically but also fuels anti-India sentiments within Bangladesh.
### Biased Media and Eroding Credibility
Indian media, often labeled as "Godi Media," is widely criticized for spreading biased narratives, particularly against Bangladeshi minorities. International fact-checking organizations and outlets like *The Economist* have exposed these falsehoods, damaging India's credibility on the global stage. A free and fair press is essential for a democracy; without it, India's influence weakens both regionally and globally.
### Recommendations for Conflict Resolution:
1. **Fair Water Sharing**:
India must honor agreements like the Ganges Water Treaty and engage in equitable water-sharing practices. Denying water to Bangladesh while accusing China of similar behavior reflects poorly on India's leadership.
2. **Accountability for Corruption**:
International investigations into Sheikh Hasina’s alleged corruption and repression should be supported, ensuring justice for the people of Bangladesh.
3. **Trade Continuity**:
Halting exports to Bangladesh would hurt Indian farmers more than it would harm Bangladesh. Trade ties must be preserved to safeguard both economies.
4. **Ending Border Violence**:
The BSF must be held accountable for border killings, and India should work with Bangladesh to establish protocols that prevent further violence.
5. **Neutral Media**:
Indian media must adhere to international standards of journalism to rebuild credibility and foster trust among neighboring countries.
6. **Reevaluating Foreign Policy**:
India must prioritize rebuilding trust with neighbors like Bangladesh to prevent regional isolation.

Bangladesh has no objection to the construction of fencing if it respects bilateral agreements and international laws. The Indira-Mujib Agreement of 1974 must be strictly adhered to, particularly the restriction on construction within 150 yards of the zero line. Unilateral activities undermine the spirit of cooperation between the two nations.

Very much disappointed with the response we are seeing from Indian government.
Ask your govt to make your country better with education, building more toilets, address Manipur issues, crackdown on scammers, etc
