- The TCM AGS in War Thunder looks like a Sci-Fi tank from the Halo series but it's actually a tank in War Thunder. The AGS in War Thunder got some significant changes that makes it one of the best light tanks in the game!
The AGS wasn't a bad tank to begin with, in fact it was actually really good. Now the AGS Buff has made it much faster and gave it access to an even more powerful round which helps it deal with many of its adversaries frontally.
The last time I played this tank I ended up in the A-10 a bit too much but this time around, it's time to just focus on the AGS entirely! :)

you should DEFFINATELY make a video on taking down helis with the scout drone! its so funny to do, unfortunately it dosent count as a kill but if you crash it into the rotors the heli goes down
I like to use the strike drones for that after I've launched the missiles, managed it twice so far, and even better keep getting rammed by jets shooting me down with the main Guns 😂
I picked this tank up last month and I was stunned by its performance back then but it got so good now that it shot it self into the top 5 most fun vehicles I own in my humble opinion

Ah, top tier. Half the game in black and white, a quarter of the game destroying a single pixel, a quarter of the game being destroyed by a single pixel.
I enjoy weird weapon mid-high tier. Like 7-9 with MCLOS and weird weapons can be fun.

The AGS was my nuke mashine, after drones happened i have not been able to get a single nuke since i keep getting revenge bonked by a drone right before i get it
Drones are the worst addition to the game

The problem with AGS was never that it's under-appreciated. It's that it's expensive af.

That second game's map reminds me of Montenegro. Probably lots of places in Europe with a similar look, but I drove by a small town named Pluzine many times, along Piva lake, that had similar topography, and even a dam at the north end.

Its been a while since I've seen one of your videos. I don't remember if you were always this good. I know these were good matches, but you are crazy good. Like I have been playing for a decade and at several moments in this video you demonstrated game skills that I wish I was better at. Honestly I haven't played in months though, kinda lost the enjoyment. I'll eventually play again as always.
I'm pretty confident that the AGS has the same turret as the Stryker
I have found success with HE Frag rounds against hull down AGS's. But dont see people using HE much these days.

And it crashed my GPU drivers twice, i don't know how that's even possible, but i guess gaijin found a way.
I mean people wanted a new long range top teir map, i guess they could have added a smaller close range section to it but id just be happy gajin listened for once
@@agravemisunderstanding9668 You have the east path for that, C flag is medium and close range + you can take some good long lines over the battlefield. Pradesh is a very good map in my opinion.
I'm always glad to see you playing this AGS, just my favorite vehicle right now with already 2774 kills. It's good in every situation.
We need more A-10 footage ! I still think this jet is a fantastic CAS jet.
According to one page the AGS didn't have a good stabilizer and crew had to climb out to adjust the gun. It also tended to have mechanical failures. Other than that it seems to have been a good idea.
Love the vids Odd, you do an amazing job of displaying tanks, though I noted this had one small thing that you might want to *correct like ya do with the text. 600 horsepower... 19 hp/ton :) Other than that, amazing work
OddBawz you should play the 90/53 m41m in the Italian tech tree at 3.7 it gets 90mm apcbc, and eight shots of it

Sold this tank 2 weeks ago and I regret it now..
I think the reason why there aren't many other tanks like this with a remote turret is that irl it's actually not a good idea because the gun system can get damaged really easily, and irl it's not a 30 second barrel repair, you gotta actually replace the whole thing!
Stability and the tank can be disabled from a burst of mg fire no optics and no auxiliary sight for the gunner to use, then aluminium armour makes it so susceptible to anti tank mines. Of course in war thunder its just a go kart that doesn't die this is why I think we need light repairs and critical damage like how a plane has to land at the AF to repair major damage, tanks should have to return to a spawn/cap to repair major damage.
Except both the AGS and Stryker are used for infantry fire support. They generally are used in defensive positions supporting infantry against armor and weapon nest or bunkers. Not to mention western combat doctrine where they'll stay behind a hill quickly peek over fire and pull back.

I debated selling my coupon a few months back to get some GJN for the upcoming anniversary sale. I decided to keep it and suffer the mod grind. Totally worth it and definitely better than the CCVL and XM8 in terms of survivability once spaded. I sold the Leo 2AV instead

the worst thing about this tank is it was beaten out by the stryker for military contract. this could have been in a league of its own on the battlefield.

The map starting at 7:30 looks a lot like the Columbia Gorge in the USA!
The most BS thing about this tank is that while it has an autoloader the autoloader NEVER has any ammo inside of it. like, the way it's modeled in game right now it shouldn't be able to load a round into the breach.
meaning that unlike the PUMA (which is still considered to be very very good) you can't even take out it's ammo.
