Tablo is literally my favorite artist in the K-industry. I’m glad that Yoongi & RM have him as someone they can rely on when they’re feeling down.

High Skool here, and honestly i enjoyed myself listening to their music when I feel lost in this world. I love their music, it helped me with depression and I found myself in their concert, speaking with other High Skools who feel the same experience w Epik High music.

Love how Yoongi acts like a big brother to younger artists like Hoshi, acts sooo respectful to senior artists like Taeyang but acts like a close friend with Tablo.

I wonder how Tablo felt when Yoongi said that he started to have dreams after listening to EPIK high's music? That moment is so touching, that's probably the greatest compliment someone who works in industry could receive.

It was really interesting hearing Tablo talk about it as though there’s some eternal legacy they’re going to pass down from one to the next- whoever it is that will be inspired by them and continue to sing about hopes and dreams
Tablo is such a gem and he seems like someone you could have long conversations about life and just bounce off of each other to figure out life’s nuances and whatnot. The conversation Yoongi and Tablo had about gray areas and gray ones not always being heard but letting them know they’re not alone was such a kind-hearted sentiment. This was a great episode. Enjoyed it immensely.
Their mutual respect and admiration are everything, I'm so glad Yoongi and Namjoon have Tablo in their lives and I'll be forever grateful to him for inspiring them to become rappers. Also, the way Tablo talks about Haru is just adorable, he seems a great father

First time seeing an interview with Tablo. At first, when Yoongi said he was in the industry for 20 years, I was shocked because he doesn’t look over 30. He seems wise & comforting to be around. His sentiments on people choosing sides and feeling lonely in the gray area really hit.

It's so sincere and honorable that Tablo's dream is for his haters to not have the difficult life he had, despite how they treated him. Beautiful and noble.

tablo is legit one of the kindest celebrities i've ever seen. it's that kind of sentiment that creates great music. suga is lucky to have someone like him by his side (and vice versa) 🌟
Tablo is simply an icon. His music, his lyrics, his personality make him and Epik High one of the best groups ever. I don't know how well this gen knows him but he really has had a hard walk in the kpop world fighting insane netizens. I'm glad he has a solid family support structure now.

it's so sad when tablo realized the weight of what he went through. he went abroad to canada and he was so alone, he thought that this is just what it means like to grow into an adult. kids that young like to think that they're grown and that they're basically adults, I know I was definitely like that lmao. then he realized that now his daughter Haru is that age. i can't explain how complicated that realization must've felt for him. i can't explain it other than feeling a little sad at how much he went through and he did it so young. to feel all of that isolation and loneliness at 13, not to mention it feeling like a core memory of his, he's been through a lot.
and not just that, but I respect Tablo for going through so much. His sentimental feelings put into his songs which people said wasn't real hip hop. and those comments definitely stem from men telling other men that they can't show any emotions that aren't anger and lust, aka toxic masculinity. Then the whole Stanford situation where people thought that Tablo faked going to Stanford, a prestigious college. He is a genius with a high IQ and he DID go to Stanford, he even went to the school and his diploma to prove he went there and graduated. With this, the loud minority were still on his case.
He's just been through a lot and I respect him for looking forward despite all of this. Like Suga says, Epik High and Tablo himself make music with this sense of loneliness, often subtle loneliness. It feels comforting when you're in a space where you can't stand to listen to anything happy and need a song to relate to you. Personally, this sense of loneliness in their songs is my favorite aspect.

Tablo is just a wise, fun person. I didn't know much about him before, but he makes me feel so happy. His outlook on life, attitude towards his music, his relationship with bts and his daughter, I love all of it. Thank you Tablo, and thank you Yoongi for this wonderful conversation.

These shows could be an hour and I'd still think it was too short. I could listen to Yoongi talk with people for hours. I hope he has taped a bunch of these for us while he is in the military. I want him to do one with every member and see their individual vibes with each other, hear their stories, etc. He's done a great job with this show and has a talent for it.

I don't know if I'm getting more sensitive the older I get, but turning 40 a month ago has me feeling extra sensitive. Sugas show is so heartwarming, wholesome, and full of wise advice from both the host and the invitee. I love the questions Suga asks the artists. They're profound and make you feel as if you are not alone in the feelings and thoughts you have when struggling. I love that they mentioned how people are not always on a black or white side, but there's a gray area in the in-between with no extreme opinion. I just look forward to Suga's show as I learn from each episode about how people cope with hardships, and it makes these artists more relatable! Hope Suga keeps this going for 40 years!!!!
I relate to your kind thoughts. I’m almost 50 and while we arguably grew up on the best music eras, I really feel how much genuine kindness and honesty was missing from the artist-fan experience. Bangtan feels like wise, goofy, loving brothers to me. Nvr felt like family with any other beloved band like this. 💜🙏

yoongi saying how much the members really love music and how they want to work with musicians whose music they grew up listening to. it warms my heart.
I love how honest they are about life and so true once you go upto certain age and have responsibilities the word dream seems like just another dream to you and its hard to define anything at this age. I totally love the honest conversations that yoongi have with other artists.

This is probably my favorite episode along with the first ep. The stories are just endless between actual friends.
There is a comfort level Suga has with Tablo that he didn’t have with earlier guests except for RM. They are close and very familiar with each other. Suga is a fan and so is Tablo. And I respect each of them immensely. I am so happy to see how Suga is showing that the K-pop industry does not have to be toxic. Respect and competition can work together.

Yoongi has been mc for many contents of bts. He is quit sometimes but watching bts ive seen suga talking alot in my point of view I wouldn't say any member of bts is too quit they all talk and have fun when together 💜

난 타블로가 말도안되는 엄청난 공격을 받을때 팬까지는 아니었지만 부들부들 치가떠렸었는데 그들까지도 모두 포용하는 인격을 가졌다는게 넘나 경이롭다. 슈돌때 하루가 나오는 영상마다 댓글달고 했었는데 얼마전 알엠이 신곡을 발표하고 에픽하이를 칭송하는 말들을 하는걸 보며 괜히 내가 뿌듯했었는데 이런 관계였구나. 요즘따라 유투브에 타블로 음악의 천재성에 대한 영상이 자주떠서 무지한 사람들이 넘 잘난 사람이라서 질투했었구나 싶기도하고 타블로만 나오면 반갑고 그 잔인한 시간을 견뎌내주어서 넘 감사하다.

This episode was amazing, but it made me so sad. We're so blessed to have such talented people like Tablo and Suga having the ability to put their thoughts and emotions into beautiful music to share with us, to allow us to live through those feelings that we relate to but can't or unable to express ourselves. They give us a release which we sorely need. I want to thank you and all the other artists for giving us the same comfort. None of you deserve the hate that those pitiful people dish out. They hate on you because they can't accept the fact that they actually hate themselves.

I'm honestly glad that BTS, specifically Yoongi and Namjoon have someone like Tablo to talk to and confide in given how much hate and malicious comments and rumors get spread about BTS. Tablo's career was almost destroyed because of malicious defamatory rumors. He was also the target of very malicious and violent stalking. I think knowing his story is very important as fans of really anyone because it's a cautionary tale of boundaries and respect. He it's not only a great artist but also a great person and of course Tablo is like our bestie on Twitter 😂 he's always interacting with us and his fans too obviously and it's so funny.
I already know a conversation with yoongi and tablo would have gems but tablo’s words about people being lonely in the gray area really resonated with me. It gives me more courage to speak up as someone in the gray area most of the time, bc most things in life are never black or white.

For solo songs, Tablo's version of Eyes, Nose, Lips is my all time favorite. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to it. I learned about Epik High in the early years of being an ARMY. Talk about GREAT MUSIC. This interview was fantastic. It's like I blinked, and it was already over. I was just lost in this amazing conversation.

I hope this show goes on for many episodes because it gets better and better. Suga is an amazing host and the guests are sympathetic and interesting.

What a wonderful conversation. The point that Tablo made around when Suga texts him when he's listening to his music means he's being remembered made me tear up because it's just a beautiful sentiment. Really appreciated learning more about Tablo and love seeing Suga so happy talking to one of his role models. Excited to see Epik High in a few weeks and celebrate this 20th year, what an accomplishment!

after this episode aired, i went down the rabbit hole of why RM & Suga see Tablo as their sunbae/hyungnim. And i know why now. Tablo is a creative genius producer. And i have become a legit fan of Epik High, 20yrs after their debut. Thanks Suga for introducing Tablo in Suchwita ❤💜
Indeed, before the episode was even over, I paused it and listened to "white night." I cried when Tablo answered the dream question. I just stumbled into BTS world a couple of months ago, I had actually been limiting myself to metal music for years because of my anger and life. Anyway, not getting into all that. Just thank you.

방탄이라는 큰 산이 높게 쳐다보던 에픽하이의 타블로산 골짜기가 깊어 마음이 먹먹했지만 '승화' 라는 단어가 타블로에게 느껴져 또한 마음이 따뜻해집니다. 또한 슈가와 알엠이 슬플 때 놀러갈 수 있는 그 산이 있어서 참으로 감사하네요.

I know I’ve said it before but I hope they release more footage, I know there has to be more. I love watching Suga and Tablo interact. You can see the ease with which they speak with one another and I’m sure the conversations flowed. I wished this one was longer. I’ve watched this more times than my age and it’s a lot lol

제가 뇌섹남 남준이라는 친구만 알고 있다가 방탄이라는 그룹을 처음 찾아보게 된 계기가 타블로씨가 작곡한 신청곡을 천 번 넘게 들으며 슈가 랩부분 가사 찾아보면서였어요.
참 멋진 좋은 롤모델을 보고 꿈을키운 남준이랑 윤기이기에 이렇게 훌 륭 한 가수가 될수있었나 봐요 두인연 참 너무 보기좋네요
그때당시 고통을 이루 짐작할수없지만 당시 억울해하는 모습보고 빨리 이겨냈으면 했던 기억이나네요... 늘 응원해요 다음 슈취타도 넘 기대할께요
