Carving Foam into the Most REALISTIC Brick & Stone Wall

- In this video, I'll show you how to create a realistic wall by etching bricks and stones out of foam. I think it’s easier and better than assembling individual pieces. And, it can be used in a TON of different dioramas, bases, or any other mini project you’re working on.
This is my very first video so please like, subscribe, and share to get it out there. I'm always looking to improve so be sure to drop a comment too - I'll be answering all of them!

Thank you for your video! Very thourough and enoyable, the added funny comments and mini videos -nice touch! :) Please make a video on how you made your glue
Thank you for the kind words - I'm glad you enjoyed it! Good news: I already made a video on how to make my glue (it's called "The ONLY scenic glue you’ll ever need to make!") and I hope it helps :)
youtube algorithm doing good work showing me these new channels! 👍👍
Hell yeah! Gotta love it! Definitely more cool vids to come🔥
Please let me know how you make your scenic glue… love your video
Thanks! It's super easy to do. I mix mod-podge matte (so there isn't a shiny finish when everything dries), water, and a couple drops of dish soap (to break the surface tension). I plan to do a more in-depth video on how to make this so others can do make it themselves. I hope that helps!
Very cool tutorial and great first video !
Thank you so much! That means a lot and I’m going to keep working to improve as I go! More to come!
Love your step by step and being real
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it and more to come!
Please make the video on your scenic glue.. so glad you tube put uou in my feed will be watching this chanel going forward
I’m glad YT put me in your feed too! And don’t worry, I’ll be making the scenic glue video soon!
This looks awesome I want to make a stone wall dam, old England style, could I use this method?
Oh cool-yes you absolutely can! I’ve used this method on a few different styles with success. I find it’s helpful to have a reference image to help get the look you’re after! You may have to cut your initial block of foam in a more slanted shape to start! Good luck!
Also I want to put 3-4 stone towers on top of the dam (squared top towers with oval windows) I could send you a pic? do you have any vids on how to make one? Or know of any vids I could check out? Thanks.
That would look great! I don’t currently have any videos on how to do that, but I know there’s tons of tutorial videos out there. A few I like are Tabletop WitchCRAFT, Miscast, and Nat 1 videos. They have great tips and techniques that you could use to make your towers!
@@MiniCrafthobby thank you very much for your help, will be keeping my eye out for more of your vids. Keep up the good work 👍
Of course! I’m always happy to help and thank you for the kind words-definitely more vids to come🤘🔥
You're only a few days old and I was shown your channel... interesting... and I like it. You're explanations are well done and you're easy to watch... so I've subbed.
Hey thank you so much! I’m glad you found the channel and even more glad you like the content. I appreciate the sub and have some great stuff in the works🚀
This is really cool! I like your starting project with the wall. Is there a specific paint brand your recommend for these types of builds?
Thank you! No specific brand-I’m using Vallejo here and on most of my projects. As long as you have a good acrylic paint set you should be good to go!
Go man go !
Hell yeah! Thank you-awesome things to come!
@@MiniCrafthobby I can't wait to see them
Your wall similar to the Night shift techniques. Are you his fc?
I love the Night Shift channel but I haven't seen his wall technique video before - I'll definitely check it out.
