There is a reason why whole world was searching for India, the Golden Bird. Indian culture was never backward. Indian women used to rule house, run family and decision making.
Even Christopher Columbus named Americans as Indians. Even philosophers from China used to praise India in their literature.
We are rising again after 1000 years. It is the cycle of time for us.

Snatching the opportunity he made his presentation the Chief Justice of Supreme Court asked him to continue after lunch break. Donno who this guy is, but man, your statement is spot on.
I recall Swami Vivekananda's statements : "India, when independent, will adopt the materialism of the West and attain prosperity to such an extent that it will surpass its past records in that field. Western countries like America would become increasingly spiritual in nature because they will have realized from the height of material prosperity the simple truth that gross materialism cannot give eternal peace. This is your century right now, but 21st century is India’s century. All the barbarians and murderers who ruled on us and looted our nation would come back to our country to pay homage to our ancient sages and saints”

  • @fcuk13579
    @fcuk13579 7 месяцев назад +6

@zuzana, I am afraid you got it mostly wrong. Whenever you watch such talks, watch the whole thing and not a clip in order to understand the context.
The whole speech here is on “resurrection and preservation of the Dharmic way of life or the ancient civilisation of Bharat“. He is presenting a diagnosis of the ailments and also prescribing solutions. The inferiority complex highlighted here is related to the systematic dismantling of Indic knowledge systems during the 1000 years of colonialism (800 by Islamic & 200 British/Christian) in order to subjugate our ancestors.
What he is trying to say is that inspite of the valour & sacrifices of our ancestors, the corrupt bureaucratic system installed by the colonisers got power when Bharat got its independence. These bureaucrats who had been trained in the art of “ruling for its colonial masters”, in order to protect themselves and keep power with them, continued with approaches meant to condescend our culture by teaching our subsequent generations biased history which whitewashed the acts of colonisers, disenfranchised our Dharmic institutions and promoted a narrative of a defeated nation that had nothing to offer. (It’s easier to rule over and plunder losers!). I think you’ve already seen the documentary “The Sahebs who never left”, ruclips.net/video/N3E534MpkHU/видео.htmlsi=cPm31FcTu5-B45Ln
So he is berating the Hindus for giving up control of the dharmic institutions to the so called "wannabe secular state" and asking Indians to "wake up and smell the coffee!".
J Sai Deepak’s (and others) whole quest is to break these shackles and reinvigorate a confident Santani Civilisation!! 🙏🏾

When we talk about India as the Land of Spirituality, we talk about Indian Heritage of Spirituality and it's depth, not about Spirituality of Average Population in current period of Post Colonial Identity Crisis. Yes there are Spiritually Conscious people and perhaps more in the depths of Spirituality than anywhere else in the world, but they are now rare and a part of Heritage not General masses! But, still general people too follow spiritual traditions but being unconscious and uninformed about the Spiritual Logics behind them, but however you do it consciously with intent or unintentionally, luckily the results are more or less same and thus Indian society even unconsciously gets the benefits of that deep Spiritual Heritage!
Now, coming to the question of clothing of Women and Men, it is true that mainstream clothing of Average Indian Woman is still traditional, while that of Men, it have been colonised. As in my own family, my Mother wear Sari or Salwar Kurta which is traditional Indian attire, while father wear tailored vintage style Pant-shirt (He too never wear Jeans or fashion stuff just classic) which is in a way Western clothing, but Indianised, and it has nothing to do with expectations or hypocrisy, simply the fact is that Men being the Primary Economic providers in Families were more likely to be sent for study and work in systems basically formed by British, so Men generally Westernised more compared to Women and thus have more colonial attitudes too. Me and my younger sister, both are now Adults and she wears Western clothes, so there is no hypocrisy for Women to be judged for wearing Western clothes as long as the clothing is Modest, not skimpy. I mean a three piece suit is also Western and Bikini is also Western, on wearing former there will be no questioning for any Women, but the later will invite societal judgement. So, it's not primarily the Western origin of dress, but the factor of Modesty. So, as per me it's very clear, origin of dressing doesn't matter as long as it's not Obscene, and well grounded proud Indian Men like me feel proud in wearing our Traditional dresses like Kurta, applying Tilak, keeping Shikha and wearing all spiritual symbols with pride. Onlg thing with the Dhoti is that I haven't yet learnt how to wear it 😅, so as of now I haven't wore it, but I would love to wear it and it would be prideful not shameful for me to wear dhoti, that is clear!
So, it's not that Indian Men object to Women wearing Western while they themselves wear Western, as long as it's modest, people are free to choose and also I never feel any shame in wearing Traditional Indian Clothing as well!

Let me tell you why what he is speaking becomes important for the Identity of India (which is effectively hindu identity). Let me give you the context and explain to you what has happened and what is happening in India!
    1. Indian civilization or hindu civilization is the greatest civilization in the world (I'm not at all bragging about it please dont take it otherwise), and we are the last surviving amongst all as well! Our contribution to Science, mathematics, architecture, astronomy, astrology, biology, surgery, Literature, Spirituality, human well-being, economy, has been humongous! Things started to change around 1000 years from now when northern india started being attacked by Arab and central asian Islamic forces and our temples were destroyed on large scale, our great universities were burnt and destroyed and this continued till 700 years, yet many things were lost and destroyed we still managed to survive some in forms of art, music, language, spiritual traditions, etc. Since india is hugely diverse and some forces and individual warriors and kings always rose to fight for Dharma (one example is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj) those forces were not able to destroy us completely!
    2. Then came the Britishers, they knew how to destroy us so they first started destroying our institutions, our education system, our language, our family system, completely destroyed our economy, from contributing 25% of Global GDP India came rown to 2% (just imagine)!! It broke the limbs and spirit of our Civilisation but yet we survived! They also brought Christian Missionaries and planted seeds of conversion in various parts of the country (which are still running)! By this time because the spirit of this civilization was hugely broken the Hindu society went into a state of slumber because when you don't have food to eat how can you think about your civilisation or culture! Yet few things survived!
    3. When we got independence in 1947 the reins of the country went into the hands of a party called 'Indian National Congress' who were effectively Brown Sahebs [ people brown in skin but white in thoughts, action and behaviour - completely deracinated from their own culture (which is what the Britishers main motive was when they realized that Indian civilization and culture cannot be completely destroyed) ],,,, after coming to power this party didn't do anything to revive Indian civilization rather echoed the same beliefs about us that the Britishers had! Let me tell you something, in India even though hindus are about 77% of the population, they are still treated like 3rd class citizens of this country! It is a shame here to say that we are hindus despite being the most law abiding and peaceful in the country and the world! In 2014 we threw Congress out of power because they didn't had any vision about the country and they became hugely corrupt! Now these Voices like that of J Sai Deepak becomes important, because these are the people who are trying to wake the sleeping Giant i.e. the hindus of India! We have simple questions in our heads, that we are the most inclusive and peaceful people in the world and we never in the history did any harm to anyone in the world rather have contributed immensely for humanity and human civilization, why are bad things happening to us???!! What did we got punished for??!! Even still why people in the world have such distorted and false ideas and beliefs about Hindus and India!!?? That's whats happening in India, we call it 'Indic Renaissance'! The rise of Bharat for the betterment of the world! I've lot to tell about India, but will leave it at that! 😊🙏
    THANK YOU 🙏🙏

As a spiritual person myself, I'm 100% with you, I'm not in favor of having any cultural or national Identity. The only reason I support the revival of Indian culture is that it is rooted in spirituality.
Many yogis and maharishis have spent their entire lives building a conscious culture that pushes people towards spirituality and realizing the higher nature. But over the period of time, people have demonized everything about Indian culture, just to be clear, when I say Indian culture, I mean yogic culture because that's what it is at its core.
Most people talking about reviving Indian culture may not necessarily be conscious of this, for them, it may just be cultural revival but ultimately it is a spiritual revival.

Indian politics revolves around these topic today---
    1) Mughal destroyed Indian culture & did conversions, atrocities on Hindus. But some Muslim glorifies mughal & some political party glorifies mughal in history book after independence.
2)Gandhi & Nehru poltics during independence took all credits & britisher planted these two for easy escape. So these two now called British puppet by Right wing.
    3) Congress party(Nehru party) glorified mughal, britisher as hero & culture enrichers.
Many great Hindu leaders, philosophies, achivement were ignored deliberately to create inferiority complex in Hindus.
4)Religion angle- Muslim led by jinnah in 1947 called for partition & launched nation wide riot & attacked hindus. This led to partition. In 1947 all muslim eligible voters voted for partition. But many stayed back in India. Today some muslim extremists in India call invader mughals as their hero. & they want to run many muslim law in country which is opposed by right wing.

Spirituality is woven in Indian songs, dances, festivals and even arts.... even our fight for freedom gains inspirtation from sprirtuality...
National song : Vande Matarm ==> Singing praised to our Nation as a Mother Goddess
National anthem : Jana Gana ==> is a prayer to the almight to bless our Land
Even Namaste is a actually related to spirituality .. it means i bow down to the divinity inside u...
Because for us there is essence of Creator in the Creation...
But what he is talking about is that post colonisation, Indians have been programmed to think as westerners... we especially guys.. will wear traditional dress only when there is a festival... what was once a part of our daily clothing has been viewed now only as a ceremonial dress.. similarly wearing marks of worshipping our deities on our forehead.. that has also become a very uncommon phenomena...
We have had our own calendar but we will still celebrate Gregorian new year and that too by drinking and partying rather than celebrating our calendar new years by family oriented cultural and religious festivals which we used to do at some point of time in our past

This has led to the destruction of almost everything , there's only handful of things left culturally psycologically spiritually , I mean inn every aspect . Why it matters Is because.......the top who controls things now subscribe to the thoughts of islam and west ideology and its will take time to change that.......and we believe now is the time after 75 years of independence

So Zuzana for you, he is talking of discrimination being faced by Hindus where their place of worship is cotrolled by state, but for other religion like Mosques-Islam, Churches-Christanity, Gurudwara-Sikh is allowed to be governed by the religious institutions.
Irrespective of Govt, this is blatantly happening when India called its constitution as equal for all.
So he is explaining by examples where Hindus are fascinated by western culture of secularism and are leaving their own cultural belives and muslims-sikhs-Christians are still following their culture and are nto influenced by western-english language.

You don't know what to make of that because you are waching it without any understanding of the context. You don't understand the internals of India that is Bharat.

The problem with this reaction video is that it’s a bit premature. And very painful to watch. Almost felt like getting into it and explaining the context, every time the host got it wrong, which was unfortunately quite often. Agree with the other comments that to get the appropriate civilizational context,a non-Indian or a western aligned Indian will have to spend at least a few years accruing that knowledge or living in India. A good place to start is to read about Macaulay’s opinions and intentions for wiping out India’s culture by introduction of his British education system in India. That forms the basis of a lot of arguments today. Also, the comparison between published statistics on Indian Hindu society prior to the infiltration by missionaries and after they arrived is quite interesting to read. Because they are so vastly contradictory .Both records are British, yet clearly point out the maligning agenda of the missionaries, who came into India with the singular purpose of conversion. Unfortunately, even western academia today follows the same statistics. Hence the poor opinion about Hindu India in the west.

I don't think he represent the collective consciousness of the whole nation. There are many who just don't agree with him. Frankly there are many in India who don't even understand what is he saying. India in itself is a diverse country with many languages and diverse culture, food habits etc.

Please stop watching jai sai deepak videos because to understand the actual context of what he's saying you'd need to have deep knowledge of indian politics.

These videos require more political proficiency in Indian politics so I will politely advise you not to watch J. Sai (not because I disagree with him most of the time but because understanding him requires some working knowledge of the already complex politics of India.)

He's talking about dress as an example. It's not about men vs women. It's about Hindus being ashamed to wear their traditional dresses to public outing.
Also it's much more acceptable for women to wear saree etc and they wear it cause they get attention but if men start to wear dhoti, everyone would laugh at him including women. Again it's not men vs women, it's about our people in general.
Secondly I don't understand what you said "that positive image of the men from india..? " something.
Let's get this straight the country which has 70 percent rapes cases are false
Where laws like 498a destroy men and their family only by taking by her words as proof
Country where "pretext of marriage rape" exists where women can book men of rape even if they had Consexual sex
I can keep going but why don't you hear anything negative about the image from the women of India?
    Why it's always men?
Where rapes rates are lesser then all developed nations
Where 1000s of women centric schemes just for the welfare of women being run
Where you have women in position of power unlike west
Why only you hear negative (if I heard correctly) of the image of from men in India?
Like no one saying we are best, we are mixed just like any other and we acknowledge our problems unlike West where they don't even let bad news come out of their country. We are honest.
I have seen candle marches in delhi for one rape in a year but never seen this kind of outrage by any western or eastern European country.
Again we are far from perfect but we aren't rapists, or anything you might think we are. We are just like anyone else.
