Sir i don't know whether this topic is easy or not, or how a cs student grab it,(because I am preparing java from RUclips and don't know much and i got stuck at this topic)but sir for me this was like impossible for me to get it i searched everywhere but was not able to get,but sir you are like god to me Now Iam very confident about the OBJECT upcasting and downcasting.THANKS A LOT SIR.

I have a doubt in mantra 2 - A b = (c) d ; C must be either same or derived type A . How can be derived type objects holds parent class object or reference ??????
because it has already typecasted to its parent type.. and using that parent type ref var.. u can't call child specific methods.. Note : it's not overriding.

c must be child of A or same as A. therefore.. b can hold both reference of both either it's own type or its child type.

Using parent reference we cant call child specific methods, it will give compilation error
because it has already typecasted to its parent type.. and using that parent type ref var.. u can't call child specific methods.. Note : it's not overriding.
