People: Khamzat can't get a visa into the US or Canada (and probably not the UK and Australia either). That's why he's not fighting. I would actually expect izzy to beat him unfortunately, I don’t see ddp not making big mistakes that izzy, as an expert counter striker, won’t take advantage of.
I’d prefer ddp did Strickland vs DDP 2, he’s got more chance of winning that decision in Africa than against izzy, not to mention he would earn more money against Strickland than against adesanya.

People: Khamzat can't get a visa into the US or Canada (and probably not the UK and Australia either). That's why he's not fighting. Despite representing Sweden he never got a Swedish passport and still on a Russian one. That, combined with the Western countries not looking too kindly at his close relationship with Ramzan Kadyrov, mean he's effectively banned from them. Khamzhat can basically only fight in Abu Dhabi and now Saudi Arabia. Khamzat's is going to get travel documents from the UAE and that may help but people from the UAE still need visas to get into the US.
Izzy fought Alex 5 months after getting TKO'd by him, ddp is just a picky champion . He is going to be the champion that only wants to fight people he wants. He will use the ranking argument when it benefits him only

Izzy was the most active champion of the modern era. I don't think you're gonna get much sympathy cuz we want other champs to be active too.

And Khamzat needed surgery. That's not the same as saying "i would rather wait for Africa". Weren't you bitching about them ruining 300? But this is exactly why they COULDN'T make any of the big fights, everybody said no. And the only excuse i heard from DDP was wanting Africa, a card that don't exist right now.
