Yay, I’m so glad I found your channel. I’ve been waiting for someone to review vintage dolls. I’ve started collected some vintage barbies myself. The only thing is that I’ve had trouble cleaning some of the vintage outfits, do you have any tips on restoring/washing older clothing?
I’m really sorry for not responding to this 4 months ago, I swear I thought I did. Maybe the comment didn’t register. In any case, it depends on the clothing. Sturdy, cotton outfits can be soaked overnight in an oxy water solution. If it’s red or orange don’t bother, it will bleed everywhere. I’ve had success recoloring ribbons on dresses, I take a sharpie and put a piece of paper under it so it doesn’t bleed to the dress and use that to soak onto the ribbon and brighten it up again.

I have both the 1964 Vintage Allan doll and the Vinage 1965 Ricky doll in my collection, they both are in excellent condition.

Yes but I don't have the "first" Ken, he's the one with flocked hair. The painted head one is the one I prefer and he was the second!
