  • Hey, Jon Benson here and today I want to show you how to write headlines that sell like crazy. I mean absolutely kick-butt, blazingly hot headlines that drive up your conversions because they tap into different modes of persuasion.
    First, I'm going to give you a very basic headline copywriting formula that anyone can follow. It's super beginner friendly. And it's a headline that you can expand upon.
    I'm going to talk about the purpose of a headline. It's probably not what you think it is...
    And then I'm going to cover what modes of persuasion are. Really important to give you context so it will be easier for you to write your own headline.
    And then we're going to get into the headline formulas that will become your copywriting go-to's.

    I eat and chew EVERY word slowly, enjoy the taste, feel my brain cells feeding, and think I'm eating the healthiest, most nutritious food I could eat, everything I needed. I go back in the video and it's like I can repeat the dish. For me it's like a very expensive feast, coming from a real award-winning chef in a 3 Michelin star restaurant. Thank you very much.

    The first headline about the dog peeing sounds like no one would care, but right now my dog is pissing me off because he won’t stop being in the house so I would totally click on that headline haha!

    Hello Jon!
    In the video "3 things that destroy VSL" you say to use your simple headlines, I suddenly came to this video. I see a lot of products on clickbank using VSL+ headlines like in this video here. After all, on a page with a VSL, which headline template to use? (If I'm going to use)
    Thanks, from Brazil!

    • @JonBensonSalesCopySecrets
      @JonBensonSalesCopySecrets  2 года назад +7

      Hey Lucas, thanks for the question. And come see me speak in Brazil: www.afiliadosbrasil.com.br/
      You should try 5 different headlines at least:
      Why (Hook) Is Helping (Avatars) (Result)
      Give Me (Time) And I'll (Big Promise)
      Revealed: How To (Benefit) Without (Pain/Objection)
      "It Took (Time) To PROVE (Avatars) Can (Goal) Faster Using This Approach...And The Results Speak For Themselves."
      "How I Used This Unconventional Approach To (Niche) And (Big Result) In (Timeframe)"
      Those can be used word for word or with revisions. BTW, this is the topic of a new video : )

    Hi Jon, absolutely love your videos!! Planning on holding a training class to teach entrepreneurs stuff they need to know about creating a brand they never considered important or spent time on (eg name, logo, or slogans )before hitting the market. I'm thinking of naming the training
    " So you really think you're a brand?!". Would love to hear what you think.

      It sounds a tad adversarial. If that's the tone you're wanting to strike, that's cool. But it may put some people off.

    What do you think of this headline for above the vsl “WARNING: Video Reveals Protein
    Causing Obesity In Millions”

    • @JonBensonSalesCopySecrets
      @JonBensonSalesCopySecrets  2 года назад

      I really like the "video reveals" - double entendre is solid. If the protein in reference is "a" protein (like, say, LDL is a low density lipoprotein) and you're using a play on words, even better.
