thats why i love this game, they include legit martial arts techniques in some of the animations, my favourite is the tomoe nage judo throw in aramushas head over heels execution, spinning hook kick in his sword kick execution and the osoto gari takedown in one of kenseis animations, really wish theyd go back to giving us executions regularly

I knew it! The moment I saw this in the season launch trailer I knew I recognized it from the marching fire trailer… and I figured it was the gonna be warden’s hero fest execution.
So does it change depending on what opponent you are fighting or is it always the same weapon? In the Marching Fire trailer it was a katana/odachi she uses to pick herself up so I assume that will be the case?
Ubisoft, please address this. I’ve done some research and nobody seems to have these 2 out of five cosmetics I’m about to go over for the “Anpaka’s rot” set. The figurehead you get guaranteed from a William Blackwood mission. The sail pattern (Anpaka’s grip) and the hull color (Plague’s wake) you get from the La Peste Lockers. But nobody has yet to receive the ornament (Anpaka’s hand) or the sail color (Foul Winds) I don’t know if this is intentional or a bug. But nobody has gotten those two parts of the set and the ornament is debatably the most sought after in the set.
Now if only the Warden could fight like that instead of shoulder bash > light > shoulder bash > feint heavy > shoulder bash feint > double light > shoulder bash > top heavy unblockable > shoulder bash. Although in saying all that the execution technically has a shoulder bash in it.
@@nathancurnutt8074 It's likely nothing major. I'm pretty sure Warden has great stats in ranked and I doubt competitive players would stay quiet on any big changes to the moveset. It's a shame, I always wanted to main Warden. He's got a great weapon, great aesthetic and great lore. But he's a shoulder bash maniac and swings his sword like a heavy baseball bat, and I find him boring to play as. Bit of a pity, but his drip excellent all the same, the only reason I got him to Rep 9 which is as far as I could manage

Hate how you class paid executions as "content" content is new maps, heroes, weopons, new modes. Wake up Ubisoft, give back minion killing animations and stop allowing minions to knock us out of executions and revives, if they attack us in those actions it should deplete our health that's it!!
Hey Ubisoft, ich kann nicht verstehen warum ihr so schöne Landschaften baut und sie nur einmal nutzt. Wenn ich zum Beispiel an die Far Cry spiele denke, warum kann man keine PvP Karten daraus mache? Ich stelle mir da vor das man in 4er Truppe auf der Karte verteilt Stützpunkte einnehmen kann, was seinen Trupp bei Einnahme Boni verschaffen würde. Man hätte einen riesigen Spielplatz auf dem man sich austoben könnte. Ihr könntet mit etwas was ihr schon habt Geld verdienen und gleichzeitig die Spieler erfreuen. Um die Animation von Gesichtern konnte man mit Helmen trum herum kommen, die man auch in einen Shop im Spiel kaufen könnte, aber nur die besonders schönen. Wäre mir alles egal solange das Spiel gut ist. Es wäre genial wenn 20 Trupp's mit jeweils 4 Personen gegeneinander spielen würden. Damit liegt doch so viel Geld vor euren Füßen, ihr müsst es nur noch aufheben. Und bitte versucht es nicht allen recht zu machen, ein Diamant strahlt erst durch seine Ecken und Karten.
I never like these executions. They just lack flow and understanding. It looks cool against a WH and another Warden. But against anyone else and it's just meh

It isn't mocapped, very few of the new executions are.
We went from mocapped executions every year, to crappy animated ones every 20 months.
