The most frustrating thing about flight delays is the lack of information available to impacted passengers, and this was a prime example of this. I would have thought having issued detailed compensation available in writing would render BA liable to cover such costs, and it is disappointing they did not honour this. I`m glad you were able to get compensation anyway Zuhair through legal intervention.

Yes you've encountered the legendary English customer service. Plus where did they find those seats in that A320 from, a 1970s Moskvitch?
What fresh hell is this? An extra unplanned night at a hotel, food, taxi from/to the airport, the cost just goes up! With you hiring an attorney to recoup your expenses, I shudder at your final bill! :) But the big question remains--would you return to Santorini? Clearly filmed in the summer as there was a little daylight even at 930pm! The Santorini airport sees a LOT of A320's but did spot I believe a Q400. and of course Ryanair's 737-800--very cheap of BA to serve only a bag of chips and water--was that BA arrival behind you for overflow rebooked passengers? Looking forward to your next installment--would like to see the return of you speaking on camera!
I managed to recover all my expenses without getting an attorney. I would return to Santorini for sure - 3-4 days is sufficient. The BA flight that had arrived behind us for a scheduled flight. Speaking in front of the camera shall return soon. I was speaking in this video but the quality did not turn out great and so deleted the speaking clips

Seems to me there’s never any ground staff to help and support now, Swissport seem to cop for all the flack. Also several friends have also had the ATC 40 minute delay like we did both ways (Mallorca in September) Flying is rapidly getting tedious 😡

BTW...The greek staff at airports on all greek islands in the summer season are unable and the "organisation" is absolutely chaotic!

Well, Philippine Airlines is better than you think. They handle the delays very well.
