Never overplay, go for game if you have it, based on what he activated there was nothing it was gonna do for the game state. If he would have lost after losing Ra then why risk him facing a counter fairy deck? Those kinds of decks are safest if a monster is already in play and doesn't have to activate any effects. He literally did that "just cause" and he payed for it. As much as I like this theme that duel showed how easily it could go all wrong using this deck, still a fun watch nonetheless
If you are looking for a competitive counter fairy deck, cut all the links save Parshath and maybe Lyna and the top 22 cards of the deck, save Artemis and maybe ariadne and just add 2 of every purrely card and Archlord Kristya. Also, if you want to keep the herald engine, Purrely is a herald target and you can switch out Baronne for Chaos Angel to save yourself from having to brick on Buten. That way, you can still go into chaos angel at anytime even with Trias in your hand given you have a way to put purrely(ly) on board (you will).
