Every sound effect is still ingrained in my memory. I should seek out some of these movies now. Honestly though, when it came to the VHS…I think I was more hyped for this preview than I was the actual thing I was gonna watch after it.
Me too!!!!! My brother and I were talking about this a few months ago and couldn’t remember which movies had it. I looked up “90’s vhs opening happy days” lol
And there were so many of them I remember thinking I wanted to watch them someday because they looked interesting but I never saw them at blockbuster or whatever
I keep finding myself coming back to this because something about the literal 2 seconds of imagery on 1:30-1:32 combined with the music just does something to my brain that its been ingrained since I was a little kid seeing this commercial on old tapes I'd watch
It's a cover made for this promo, but it's still understandable that they would use the theme regardless as Happy Days was a Paramount produced TV show and this promo was for Paramount Family Favorites.

I always felt the same way, except with the entire Explorers bit.
This played before my Rugrats Vacation VHS! To this day it's still my favorite episode of Rugrats!
I miss the good old days
1:54 scared the SHIT out of me as a kid 😂😂
The screaming dragon is the only reason I remember this preview 😅 completely scared me.
I don't blame you 2. I was scared by that dragon also.
Brings back memories of watching Andre.
I Remember This On One Of The Rugrats Tapes. I Believe It Was A Rugrats Vacation.
Yup - that's the tape I first saw this on
What version of the Happy Days theme song is this? I can't find it anywhere.
It's by Little Tony
@@loganlevesques Nope that's not it.
Then who?
@@loganlevesques can confirm it's not the version from the video 🤷🏽♂️

This appeared on a lot of Rugrats Videos, and 1 Peanuts VHS I have called "It Was My Best Birthday Ever, Charlie Brown!".
One day I'm just going to sit down and do a marathon of all these movies. The only ones I remember well are Lassie and Charlotte's Web.
I remember this when I had CHuckie the brave my first rugrats VHS I had at age 4.
Does anyone Know the version of the Happy Days theme song? I’m trying to look for it so I could listen to that version.
For curiosity's sake who sings that version of Happy Days?
Which of these Paramount Family Favorites I should check out?
Try 'Explorers' (the one with the weird looking aliens in this promo)
