@@celestialtimesquidtier lists in battle cats are never reliable. Supercar has a strong niche but still needs specific conditions to work well, a lot of the cats that xskull placed above supercar are a lot more straightforward and consistently do well against their trait/mechanic. It’s best to ignore tier lists in this game, it’s misleading to sum up a unit’s viability as a number in a ranking

There’s no reason to use him over barrel cat in most orthodox aku stages, and when you do, you need impeccable timing, especially since its foreswing and range arent optimal. The knockback redeems him, but supercar is NOWHERE near as reliable as soap, courier, hitman, or mushroom

Bride isnt that bad, especially if u compare it to the other 2 event eggs, I used it in a few games with wushu, and the 2 main flaws with this unit is strong against and cooldown, strong against make it deal surprisingly high damage for your average meatshield, it helped wushu to clear some zrocos in few levels, and while it can tank some few hits from zamelle, its not even close to wushu level, thus if it had tough like most meatshields, it can compete well with wushu since they have the very close base HP at lv30 if we dont count the zombie targets, also its cooldown is too long, even ramen without research has better cooldown.

it also helps that the june bride event gives out red/purple behemoth stones like halloween candy making it even easier to unlock for early game
They're better for getting early courier though. Just did that on a returner account.

I just found this channel very recently after returning to The Battle Cats and it’s been very helpful
Kasli the Bane is a very powerful unit when it comes to stats. The combination of high health and 5 knockbacks leads to her staying alive for a long time when summoned. Thanks to the powerful Surge, she is also able to deliver high and consistent damage to midrangers and backliners, such as Le'noir and R.Ost, while also intercepting incoming peons and keeping enemies that are extremely easy to knockback at bay, such as Gory variants, Brollow, Rain D. and Mr. Puffington. Lastly, she can even be used for "base trapping": if you have her hit a base and trigger a boss wave, her Surge will instantly hit and severely cripple anything that comes out, sometimes making a massive difference. Just remember that due to her blindspot and most of her damage being concentrated in the surge, she will not perform too well against Zombies, short ranged pushers like Bore or One Horn, as well as surge-immune enemies. However, a tanky unit can cover her blind spot, making her usage even more viable.
Damage isn't all she has though: her Curse ability lets her disable enemies' Knockback, Slow, Freeze, Weaken, Warp, Curse, Dodge Attack and Toxic abilities. Since it has good uptime, this makes her even more useful against enemies with annoying abilities like Super Metal Hippoe, Li'l Doge, Crazed Axe Cat, Henry, Winged Pigge, Gobble, Heavenly Herald Papuu, Bakoo and all Relics. There are, however, rare instances in which her Curse ability can be counterproductive, such as against some units with Warp, who would become unable to warp any attackers they reach to safety. This is most notable against Final Boss Giga God.
Her immunities to Wave Attacks, Warp, Curse, Weaken and Surges further help her with the threat posed by such abilities, especially in Uncanny Legends, Cats of the Cosmos and The Aku Realms where they are prominently active.
Overall, she's an extremely powerful unit that holds her edge all the way into the endgame and has almost no drawbacks.

If I had to guess her damage output isn't anything to call home about? 1.5k single target dps with strong against doesn't seem super noteworthy for a specialized meatshield

Fr. Most of the eggs are terrible and courrier literally influenced the whole community
I ironically use this in aku and zombie stages mines is level 40+10 (yes I got it 10 times) it’s kinda good as a meatshield

Personally, I think that the tier list should be much more divided, with mushroom being s tier and chief to supercar being a tier. I would place gas mask slightly lower, but overall I think that there are more really good eggs and trash eggs compared to mid eggs.
Tldr: usually outclassed by cactus and shigong but decent for early game and behemoth + mixed stages

Love this one. I don't have cactus yet. Sure it may fall off when I get later. But right now it slaps and is very effective. I'm sure it'll get more levels eventually too since the other eggs in the batch are capped higher than 10.
Bride cat just pulling out a bloody knife will forever be hilarious to me
for its zombie niche (and aku before you unlock maize), it can be used alongside shigong/cactus with research combos to form a wall thats very difficult for enemies to pass
also only for zombies, while its dps may be lower than shigong (even with the strong buff), it doesnt have multi-hit so itll almost always do more damage than shigong against zombies that have multiple knockbacks, and this is even more apparent when using it alongside shigong due to it having higher range, since the shigongs will die faster than the brides against zombies that are either outranged by bride or have single target
Maybe eggs are just a way for ponos to avoid designing first and second forms

I was surprised how well bride does against rangmaster and florivean, she does great against them. Dont have the shitty yellow bstones for cactus and dont have conecat so itll be a while til i get any aku meatshield replacement

I wished ancient eggs kept a niche with a single trait, i feel like that would make them more interesting since PONOS can focus on a single trait to make the unit very strong against it.
That would be so boring though, there’s so many eggs, and you want them all to be against one trait? That trait wouldn’t need more eggs after courier.

This is sorta random but why does ponos just never nerf or buff units?
Because of Japanese gambling laws, they are literally not allowed to alter any gacha units once they have been released publically without giving them new forms or something. Presumably they keep to that mentality for non-gacha units in order to keep the design philosophy consistent.
