  • “Predictions” Director: John Rich. Writers: Jesse Goldstein, Phil Sharp, Sherwood Schwartz. Joan made some predictions when she and Brad were first married. She hid them in their first home (on Willow Street). She retrieves them there from the new occupants, Bob and Melissa Sanford (Herbert Ellis and Maura Murphy) This scene is the “additional footage” and is of lesser technical quality than the rest of the episode, but important to include for story clarity. When she realizes that she predicted things that didn’t come to pass, she tries to keep it from Brad. She calls an old suitor, millionaire Roger Brooks (Dan Tobin) and asks him to make believe he’s poor for the sake of Brad’s ego. It goes haywire when Roger’s chauffeur shows up (Gil Frye). Dan Tobin, Gil Frye and Paul Keast (Brooks’ associate) are all IMJ “frequent fliers.” They appear in multiple episodes.

This old show is a blatant rip off of I Love Lucy.
