It's a brilliant game for sure. One of my go-to games on my real Commodore 64. That PAL music sure is slow, though! On my NTSC machine it sounds about 20% faster and really gets the blood pumping .
They have a new AMIGA version called "Roguecraft" coming out on a few weeks.
I had no idea it was a PAL version and therefore slower! I grew up playing PAL Mega Drive games and always thought they felt like they were in slow motion somehow. Especially Sonic compared to my Game Gear version. And an Amiga successor? I’m in!
Oh hey, I think you should try Cave Noire for the Game Boy! I’ve played a lot of great games for that console, but Cave Noire is my favorite. It’s an extremely pick up and play roguelike experience that takes only a couple minutes per run, letting you squeeze an entire (truncated) roguelike mission into any small chunks of free time you may have. The thing that’s brilliant about it though is that every time you complete a mission you unlock the next, harder mission in that particular cave, so you’re always making good, permanent progress after your very short session, which makes the game really satisfying and addicting! It’s Japanese only but there’s a fan translation, and there’s not much text anyway.
That sounds awesome! Right up my street. Would be great to get a real cart and play it on Analogue Pocket :)

@@CatGoneCrazyHey bro I have question about Atomos ninja 5 when I open batman arkham knight it show from Atomos ninja 5 ready to record but when I play top 5 games @CatGoneCrazy a plague tale requiem and Uncharted™: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West screen turn off to red screen and for TV turn off like I didn't open when I Exit from one of these it's back to normal I feel like I paid for this Atomos ninja 5 for nothing can you help about this or nothing can do with it?
@@Haikyuu7 Sounds like a HDCP issue. Make sure HDCP is turned off in settings, otherwise you’d need to source a ‘stripper’ to strip the copy protection from the HDMI signal. Some HDMI splitters do this, though it’s not always perfect. For instance you may not get sound at all still. But I think a little trip to Settings should sort you out, just disable HDCP.

The discussion what should and should not be considered a rouge-like is something a friend of mine and I are debating more often than i'd like to admit. It is really refreshing from time to time to see and play a true rougelike again, after the flurry of Rougelites that call them self rougelikes -.-

Calling this the "best true roguelike" strongly suggests the uploader has never played a roguelike game before.
By all means give examples of games you mean. What I’m saying in the video is ‘by which I mean a game like Rogue’. This is the best game like Rogue I’ve played that isn’t actually Rogue.
I mean, I’ve played Enter the Gungeon, the Binding of Isaac, Hades… stuff other people say are Roguelikes, but they’re not really like Rogue at all.
