Peak fiction before season 4. Season 1 to season 3 part 2 was absolute peak fiction. Nothing comes close. Season 4 is garbage. The manga is mostly the same but it looks better. (Like chapter 90-105 is good from what i remember). The entire show just fell off so hard in season 4 (nothing to do with animation)
@@drrobbie3101 i think that Isayama got overwhelmed with the expectations and made an ending that he thought would satisfy most people: an ending about love. Fans in Japan were apparently in love with Mikasa x Eren (even though Isayama had said in an interview that Eren sees Mikasa as an annoying mother-figure in terms of how he loves her, and that's clearly the way their relationship was written til the last chapter) and this led to Isayama making them a real couple, just out of nowhere. All the relationship drama in the last season took away the feeling that made the show click in the first place, the realism. season 1 to season 3 part 2 is very realistic. The characters are realisticly built up in a way that makes is totally believable that someone like them would, if they were to face this situation in real life, would react. It was great. Then in season 4 it wasn't.
