      @@Passionatesoul_Family4life I am trying this now and i think its possible! I simply placed my roses in water not thinking it would grow, I left for 2 weeks and came back and there was some bloom. Its not as green as in the video and its been in a dark house (with -20) outside but it definitely blooms. I just have to learn how to take care of it.

    Adding an aquarium air pump and an opaque container will increase your success rate to damn near perfect. Clear containers have a higher rate of algae growth and mold. Also if it's left in the bright sun that acts like a magnifying glass heating your water up and can cause a decreased success rate potentially leading to rot.

    Most of the roses in my garden were only from "rose cuttings". There are bed roses, shrub roses and climbing roses. At first I put them in a glass with water for a few days and then planted them in a small pot. When they already have roots I transferred them to my garden, direct to the soil with sunlight and there they grew up and bloomed. Have also planted rose cuttings directly in soil during autumn, covered them with pine branches till springtime. In month
    of may, many leaves appear and has several buds already. At that time I removed all pine branches coverings because they need direct sunlight.
    In summer, the rose cuttings start to root before 1 month because of the warm weather.

    I have done this with many rose cuttings and it never works unless you dip in a rooting element and still from store bought never worked. Only works with the rooting element from organic actual plants from friends and neighbors. And still it's hit and miss. They may get roots, but not actually grow and thrive to produce flowers, unless you're lucky.

      Nếu bạn để chỗ bóng dâm 100% thì cây tuổi nhung khó ra đc rễ, vì lá k có ánh nắng để Quang hợp, kinh nghiệm của mình là để chỗ có ánh nắng sáng nhẹ. ( tức là k phải nắng gắt buổi chiều, mà chỉ có ánh nắng xiên nghiên buổi sáng thôi, bản thân cành Hồng vãn được để chỗ có mái che .

    While its in the jar did you put it outside sometimes for sunlight?

    • @GrowGreenGarden
      @GrowGreenGarden  3 года назад +2

      Thank you for watching 😊. Yes, the cuttings need sunlight but not direct sunlight.
      It would be better to place the jar near a window-side.

    I have my cuttings in water for months now. No roots but the cuttings are now flowering and growing more leaves. But no roots. What can I do? I change the water every week.

      Also. I had a 15 year plus rose that was blown right out of the ground. Roots were broken off. I have now replanted it, pruned it back but now the new growths are getting wilted. Can I save it?

    • @GrowGreenGarden
      @GrowGreenGarden  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching .
      Since the cuttings are still alive, there is a high chance of roots to grow,
      So keep them in water for some more weeks and change the water every week.

      @@dollyonlyhereforfanfic5203The best time to transplant roses is when they are dormant. Your plant might be in a transplant shock. Give the plant some time to revive by itself. Water the plant regularly and do not fertilize for at least one month. All the best👍
