It’s going to take that long (if not longer) because they’re building a solid case against him. Not only are they investigating the tapes but they’re also deposing lots of witnesses. Those depositions are going to be hours long for most of the individuals (witnesses) and then have to be transcribed. All these things and a lot more are all part of the “discovery” process and that takes time.
