I've been feeling really miserable lately and your videos are helping me feel better! They give me hope that soon I'll be able to have a happy and exciting life like you do! Thank you
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW. This is so cool. I need to remember this for after I get my bachelors. It was always my plan to travel before going on to grad school ,but now it's nice to know that I can do it on a budget
Hey Sahara, big fan of your videos! Your travelling videos have really inspired me to go travelling on my own. I've discussed with my parents on this but they're not having any of it, especially since I'm only 17 (which I don't think is too young to go travelling alone tbh). It would be great if you could maybe consider making a video on how to convince parents to let their kids go travelling alone? Thank you, keep up with the amazing videos! xx
Kaitlyn Yong considering you're a minor and legally your parents don't really have to let you do anything I think your SOL on the whole traveling thing. But since you're 17 that means you'll legally be able to do whatever you want within the law in a few months. Just wait until you're 18 to travel and live your life.
Thanks so much for this video - I found it super helpful and inspiring, and I'm looking forward to using some of your tips when I take a gap year next year :)
Oh my god ! You were just next to me ! I live not far from La Rochelle, that's so strange to think that, haha ! I love your travelling videos and see you joking with ALL your cool friends, I would like to do the same one day... :)
Dude thank you for sharing! you just showed me a world of possibilities! Love you for being so inspiring and yet is so simple and is so much to watch you. :]
Hi Sahara! First of all, i've been watching you since you've started youtube, and you still surpise me with each video. Also, next time you do wor eachange could you blog or something? And how old do you have to be to do this? Thaanks and keep going! Maybe when you come to barcelona again we can meet up!:)
Hey Anastasia!! I can't believe you've been watching since I started! Thank you so much! Yes, I'd be happy to blog next time I do a work-exchange. :) I will let you know if I'm ever in Barcelona again! You let me know if you're ever in Vancouver! I'd love to meet you!
thanks for respoonding!:D i would be thrilled to meet you if you go back to barcelona, and i will defenitlly tell you if i ever go to vancouver! Hope you have the best day, and lots of love from Barcelona!:)) xoxo
Hi, I really want to do this when I'm a bit older, but how can you trust someone to like let you stay in their home? what if they're completely crazy or mean? And how do they trust the traveler? And also, are you working the whole time or do they give you a lot of time to go off and be on your own? Thanks!! ((:
Hey Jada! Usually you Skype with the people before you go just to get a feel for each other. Also all the sites have ratings and comments on the host's profiles from previous work-awayers so you can see how others have liked staying with them and you can message directly those past travellers. Everyone that I stayed with surprisingly so so trusting. I think its just the travellers community, everyones so kind. I think the average is 20 hours of work a week. But I've seen some that are only 1 hour a day, it really depends. The host's host travels usually genuinely because they like it. they want you to get out and explore their town or city. They want to show you around and swap stories.
Do these jobs require a lot of expirence or a college education? I'm still in high school but I'll be graduating next year, I plan on going to college but I think I may have a gap year or two where I can travel.
Hi Sahara! If you happen to be in Montreal (it's in Quebec if you didn't know), send me a message and we could hang out! I could also show you the town and and help you learn french :)
I did get one but it got stolen and then i learnt i didn't need one after all. Depending on where you're from. For Canada and America you can stay there for as long as you want as long as you leave the schenegen union and eu every 3 months. so every 3months or so I would switch between them and I never had a problem.
Sahara! Is there anywhere people can message you to ask questions other than RUclips comments 😅. I am taking a gap year and I have a lot of questions that I don't want to spam your comments with!

Hi ! Didn't you need a visa or something to travel in Europe ?
I did get one but it got stolen and then i learnt i didn't need one after all. Depending on where you're from.
