  • In this video, I will teach you how to color correct your skin tones and how to tell if they are on point using the Lumitri Scopes in Premiere Pro.

    So is the mask actually a necessary step here? It seems like you selected it just to deselect it and make your adjustments?
    Did you mask it just to temporarily eliminate everything else so you could focus on the face?
    Hopefully you know what I'm asking, LOL, thanks for the video!

    I usually use the red/orange area in curves to adjust the skin tone..

    are you starting with raw footage or REC709 footage? looks like Rec709 footage...important piece of info.

    my selection doesnt seem too mask out if that makes sense , it just draws the blue outline and then i cant black out the rest of the image like you did at 2:09

      be sure you are using the mask on the actual clip, and not on an adjustment layer. That should help i think!?
