AWS Mania : Placement Groups

In this video , we will see how to take control over our EC2 instances
Placement group types:
Cluster: Instances are packed in an availability zone. It's mostly used for big data jobs that need to be completed quickly. Cluster Placement Groups place your EC2 instances next to each other which gives you high-performance computing and networking.
Spread: Spread Placement Group places your EC2 instances on different physical hardware across different AZs. Application that needs to maximize high availability .
Partition: Instances are separated by partitions, and once one partition is attacked, the other is not hampered. Cssandra, Kafka, HDFS, etc. use this one.
