I love these videos because I am starting my relaxer journey and trying to see what I need to do . Wait I had to come back to this she said I won’t have to go back to the relaxer. I’m shook . The only problem for me and the not getting relaxer is that when I work out and everything my hair curls up so heavy . I live an active lifestyle and the relaxer truly works for me !!
I understand completely. I've been in the gym a lot lately. Trust me, I'm either giving up the gym or the relaxers because these ROOTS would like to remain sweat free LOL! I will get my relaxer, I'm just not sure when. Somethings have happened causing this extra long unwanted stretch. I will post a hair update this Sunday and tell all about it. Thank you for watching!
@@AprilSunnyBeauty I was just gonna type this.....your natural hair will keep growing out and eventually, the frizz that comes after straightening natural hair is gonna make the distinction more obvious. Your relaxed hair is beautiful don't be pressured. Bless
You posted just in time, I'm sitting here pre-pooing 6wks post thinking if I wanna just blowdry and straighten for this time around and after watching you the answer is YES!! Honestly I've been having thoughts about going natural again, yknow 'straight naturals' lol great video!
I just pulled out my knotless braids on Friday that I had in for 6/7 weeks and my hair is shedding and breaking like crazy. I’m going to get a relaxer this Friday to see if I can combat this breakage. Uhh it’s sad and stressful
I'm the first one watching your video. I'm so pleased about it... As usual I like what you do. Hopefully I'm not working tomorrow that's why I'm still awake 😊😊 is cool I could be one of the first one watching your video 😘 From a Cameroonian guy living in Cyprus been following you 3 years now
I was natural for 5 years, relaxed and cut my hair in Feb this year. My hair has been breaking /shedding like crazy. Every time I touch my hair, my hand is full of hair. What do you think could be the cause?
Same happened to me… I relaxed my hair in May and my hair was shedding so bad. I started using olaplex 3 and 6 and it’s strengthened my hair completely. I also trimmed my ends. Definitely recommend olaplex for shedding hair
Thank you!!! It has grown a lot but I have some cutting to do. Yup cutting...I have a hair update coming, I'll tell you all about. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for this video. Did you finger Detangle each single braid section after you removed the extension braids after 24 weeks or did you use a comb? What product did you use to aid in the take down? After the 4 braids you began finger detangling and then shampooed, did you pre-poo or use a comb before applying the shampoo? Thanks
Great Question! Yes, I section my braids into 4 sections then as I removed each braid I finger detangled each braided section before moving to the next braid. The night before I moisturize my new grow and the length where I knew my hair to be, here is a video of how I moisturize my braids ruclips.net/video/d1AtWVAr0WI/видео.html this is exactly what I did the night before. This was to ensure my hair was not dry causing breakage during the take down. It also allowed any build up to easily slid out. I didn't use a product during take down because moisturizing the night before was enough for my hair. If I needed a product to help I more than likely would have used the Kera Care oil moisturizer. This time around I did not use a comb or flat brush to further detangle. I just took my time to finger detangle. Basically I finger detangled twice. Once as I took each braid down and again as seen it this video before shampooing. TFW!!!
11:43 girl keep using your relaxer Blowdrying natural hair is not funny. Especially long natural hair. You found that easy cause you were dealing with 2 inches long growth lol It takes me 3 hours to oil, mostrize and blow dry my natural hair as after washing it shrinks and gets dry I will get relaxer
A whole head of natural hair is a whole different ball game lol but you may end up loving it. After going back to relaxer after 9 years I’m glad I took the plunge. Great video as always 💜
I don't have any plans to transition and I DO NOT like stretching this long but somethings have happen causing this unwanted stretch. I have a hair update video coming this Sunday where I will tell you all about it. Thank you for watching!!!
You have retained very well! Almost like you didn’t cut it a while ago. Lol. I like how patient you are with Detangling. I struggle with that. No patience. Lol. Great results!
Your hair is beautiful. My hair is texlaxed, 8 months post. I plan on retouching my hair once yearly. But I'm scared I may not be able to get same results always when I do a touch up. Also, your hair looks relaxed. I guess you are not texlaxed
Thank you!...Months strong girl!!!! What do you do to help handle the two textures? No, I'm not Texlaxed, but I've been there. It didn't work out for me because I couldn't get the same results each time. So, it became frustrating for me. I'm sure there is a way but I never found my rhythm with it. Thank you for watching!
Thank you. NOPE, I actually do not like stretching this long but something has come up causing this unwanted stretch. I have a hair update coming this Sunday where I'll tell you all about. Thank you for watching!
Your hair is growing so long. I have been a watcher since the beginning of your relaxer hair journey. I am on my own & now at armpit length. Would love 2 b your length. 🧕💇♀️
Thank you so much for watching this channel! Congrats on the length. Sounds like you're on the right track to be at whatever goal you set for yourself!
I'm actually not sure. I've had somethings come up causing this unwanted stretch. I have a hair update I'm posting this Sunday. I will tell you all about! Thank you for watching!

Thank you!!
I love the realness with the hair education and yes I’ve had to use a plastic shopping bag when I out of my shower caps.
I literally finished my wash day routine an hour ago and then I saw this lol Your hair is gorgeous and how you take care of it is so inspiring!!
Growing out my relaxer also! My friends and family are not with it lol.

I’m thinking of going back natural and being a straight hair natural 🥰
If I had to go natural I would do the same! Thank you for watching

Won't that make it worse? Wouldn't conditioning it be a better option?
Do a protein treatment

Hey April I’m so glad you are back I have been waiting for you to post a hair video. The hair mask you used does it have protein in it.
Hi April I was able to answer my own question it does have protein in it.
Hi Roz!!! Yes, Corn and Wheat protein... to my knowledge.
I was natural for 5 years, relaxed and cut my hair in Feb this year. My hair has been breaking /shedding like crazy. Every time I touch my hair, my hand is full of hair. What do you think could be the cause?

What blow dryer/flat iron did you use?
I love, I love, I love 👌🏾 you have beautiful hair 🥰.
Thank you so much 🤗
You GLOW 💙💙💙
Hey April, what was the name of the product at 6:21?
Wish you had shown how much hair you shedded with the braids
your hair got sooo long😍
11:43 girl keep using your relaxer
Blowdrying natural hair is not funny. Especially long natural hair. You found that easy cause you were dealing with 2 inches long growth lol
It takes me 3 hours to oil, mostrize and blow dry my natural hair as after washing it shrinks and gets dry
I will get relaxer
Hey dear April😊
Hey girl hey 💞🤗!
Should i relax my hair even tho my hair is naturally thin?
I wouldn’t, it’s going to look stringy. My hair is very thick so when I relaxed my hair it thinned it out a little bit but it’s still pretty thick.
A whole head of natural hair is a whole different ball game lol but you may end up loving it.
After going back to relaxer after 9 years I’m glad I took the plunge.
Great video as always 💜
Are you transitioning? I remember in old videos of yours you said you didn't like long stretches between relaxer, did you change your mind?
I don't have any plans to transition and I DO NOT like stretching this long but somethings have happen causing this unwanted stretch. I have a hair update video coming this Sunday where I will tell you all about it. Thank you for watching!!!
You have retained very well! Almost like you didn’t cut it a while ago. Lol. I like how patient you are with Detangling. I struggle with that. No patience. Lol. Great results!
Hey April. Would you know how to get an even skin tone on the legs?
I'm working on perfecting that myself! As soon as I do I will share. TFW
Your hair is beautiful. My hair is texlaxed, 8 months post. I plan on retouching my hair once yearly. But I'm scared I may not be able to get same results always when I do a touch up.

Great video! Do you always stretch this long?
Thank you. NOPE, I actually do not like stretching this long but something has come up causing this unwanted stretch. I have a hair update coming this Sunday where I'll tell you all about. Thank you for watching!
Kudus to you because I don’t think I can wash my hair sitting down like that 😬
Your hair is growing so long.
I though that lbwas the only one who checks whether it's breakage or shedding
Nope, you're not alone!!! LOL TFW
How long are u stretching for ?
I'm actually not sure. I've had somethings come up causing this unwanted stretch. I have a hair update I'm posting this Sunday. I will tell you all about! Thank you for watching!
I think you and summer walker are sisters lol
