The last 5 minutes of A+B = C in D# *must* be the greatest moment in acid trance history. NOBODY was building such complex arrangements like Solar Quest. So many changes, so many patterns, and such a well-recorded TB-303 - he just nails that "hollow" distorted sound. I've been looking for this song since I first heard it on cassette in 1995! THANK YOU!!

Solar Quest is like from another world, just showing what electronic music can be. The levels of production in his songs are unique for me and I think that Acid Trance just marks an end of an era. I agree, not everyone could match with Solar Quest's skill even these days.

WOW, track s 6, 7 & 8 are incredible in that order. Pure acid trance as it was back then, raw compared to the sterile polished stuff thats often floating about nowadays......................Everybody tone down the often over the top bass and get back to basics cus its a lot more exciting to listen to
listening to Lost In Time (Acid Eyeful) for the first time, I can immediatly feel the Acid Eiffel influence. after checking discogs, I found a comment from Dj Choci confiming my feeling. but he also mentionned Jones & Stephenson First Rebirth as an influence of Into The Machine. I can't believe I didn't realize it before

What with only a spotlight on over the keyboard, the music swirling and squelching in my head combined with those insane folding/rolling graphics and a strobe light mounted just behind my tv/monitor illuminating the whole back wall sync'ing the whole show........dont get any better than that tbh. Thank you for an astonishing mix. Proper LSD Music. Had to go Discogs and get me a copy of Solar Quest - A+B = C in D# before the track had got half way thru playing

@@shumeister1059 They were all pushed into nightclubs mainly. But then it became ok as at festivals. I followed a lighter path of trance. Before Corona I was going to a few events 8-10 a year a 4 day beach festival included and a 25000 people trance event (which was my last in Feb). Fingers crossed for the beach festival end of June.

I'm not sure why the difference in name, they sound very similar to me although the time info differs a bit. The version used here is a few seconds longer than the one appearing on the Into The Machine EP
