How do I stop it from automatically making the thread longer? Sometimes i cut, pause, cut, pause, cut, pause.. Suddenly the spool is empty because it has been feeding it out everytime I start trimming.

Looks very good. but i want a strimmer that I can fit other 'tools', like a circular wire brush, and steel cutting disc.

What is the battery life in terms of holding a charge over time. Are replacement batteries available say in 5 years ?
My order from Ryobi came last week 11 May 2023. The box was open so I took pictures and the strimmer was leaking oil. The unit looked like a refurbished item. There was dirt sticking on the oil leaked parts. Complained to Ryobi. Not much options with their customer service. They sent me an email to which I replied with pictures of the mess. Till now no response. Guess I won't trim the grass this season. Hope they will reply this week.
How can we clean it after using it ???
How long ist the battery life when I use it with a 4Ah Battery?
Hi Dominik, thanks for your comment. Using this tool with a fully charged 4.0Ah battery is estimated to give you 40 minutes runtime. However, this can vary massively on how and when it is used as well as how often the tool is starting and stopping. Many thanks, Team Ryobi
