I'm a huge fan of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings movies, along with The Hobbit. Which is why I have both novels, cd music and all Trilogy films on extended dvd boxed sets. Plus the video games too.
Gollum's story as you said is a sad and lonely one. Your musical version was very moving and truly superb.

Thanks! It's my favorite as well. It was somewhat overshadowed by Enya's "May It Be" in the first film, but I like this one so much better!
