12 june was a sad day because Tango music lost one of the best musician! Maestro Marcucci was a great person and a great musician. Incredible bandoneon player and great arranger! I have just returned from the funeral ceremony of Alfredo. To hear our recordings played during the ceremony was very moving. To know that his spirit and musicianship will continue to be enjoyed is a wonderful thought. Alfredo is still very much with us here at Channel Classics!
