- Full DVD Version of faceting My Way with high quality close ups of the facets as they are being cut with full commentary. This is basically the old way of faceting using a modern machine and not meet point faceting. Here we cut the cut pavilion first followed by the crown. - ENJOY

Wonderfully informative and educational! Thank you for your skill, patience and generosity. Definitely a channel I will be following.
Excellent job
Wow...GREAT VIDEO!!! Thanks, Marci
Very good narrative. Not too much talking. Just pure teaching. The man who was doing all my gem work for me REFUSED to let me watch. I love him but that frustrated me in spite of his excellent work. Thanks so much for teaching.
Excellent demonstration video.
Thank you for putting the time and effort to make it available to those interested in the faceting process.
Wow thanks to you and the camera operator for all the hard work it would of taken to bring to everyone this great video, I was so intrigued I near forgot I was drinking a beer watching it. Brought back some great memories of when my grandfather years ago called into home each week on his way to Inverell for his lapidary course, (18 months long it went for I think if memory serves me well.) He is long since gone but I have a stone unset he cut me in the brilliant design I grabbed and was looking at for reference. Great job mate, looking forward to acquiring a faceting machine and more importantly the skill (I hope) to go with it in the future. All the best.
What an amazing piece it turned out to be . Keep up the fantastic videos , thank you for sharing your knowledge, cheers.
Спасибо большое за это позновательное видео, я много где подписан но так подробно как объясняете вы не видел ни одного огранщика. Храни Вас Бог!
So good. Thank you so much for this video. This video has taught me a lot. Thank you
Very good video. Please do more, I learned a lot from this.
learned alot from this! Thank you so much!
Awesome! Now I see what I've been doing wrong. Thanks!
Your the first faceter that I have watched on youtube that does not blabber on and on and tells me nothing. You have gone through the entire process and that is what make sense not blabbering on an on about stuff that tell the watcher nothing of value. I wanted to especially see it done on a Ultra tec because I'm thinking of purchasing one. Yours is an older one for sure but still the same principal.
Very clear instructional video. Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant, you are Gem- cutter and a great Teacher too, thanks!
Thank you for great video!
Great job Mate! This is so very much more enjoyable to watch, Thanks for sharing...and what a good job you did showing us how to facet...

awesome tutorial!
شكرا لك واتمنى لك الصحه والعافيه
We love you already ❤️😘
great
Great instructional. I love the way you anticipated some possible pitfalls and then showed how to make the correction. Thank you for that. I have been away from faceting for five years and needed a refresher. I am really glad I came across this video.I saw a posting that said that cinnamon oil could be acquired from a "Chemist". I am in Michigan USA. Is a chemist the same as a drugstore pharmacist? ..... Could you possibly do a video on emerald cut? Thank you.
شكرا لك
best im from srilanka
So beautiful 😍
Very helpful video. Very much appreciated. Have you done any others?
No Sorry - That was it, though I do have a pdf file of the book that went with the original video.
I don't often get the chance to look at comments on this URL. sorry for the late delay.
Trev
Trevor Hannam Thanks for that. How could I get a hold of the PDF file?
I don't know why at first i thought the title said facetting underwater lol
Hello from Florida, USA. What a great video. I love your tip about JB Weld. Why wouldn't it work for the original dopping?
Congratulations on your work. What is the brand of your faceting machine?
greetings, and congratulations on the very explanatory video. could you tell me what brand of your machine,
Please?
hello friendly thanks for the excellent work done. I have learned a lot from your videos. Could you tell me the most accurate turnstile on the current market? thankful

Thank you for this wonderful video. How many hours did it take from start to finish? Also, how much was the stone at purchase then after the cutting how much is it worth?
I buy about 5 stones like this one in a lot, from ebay, for an average of $5. Search "rough topaz". The finished product depends on the buyer. Search Gemselect.com to compare with a similar stone, and judge replacement value. ...Looks like about $100.
Muito bom.. que pena nao ter uma tradução em português .. tinha que ser legendado..
parabéns pelo trabalho..
Do you have trouble with that weak motor when you are polishing with a plastic lap ?
can i use a copper lap to polish topaz?
THANK YOU! COULD YOU TELL US WHETHER IT IS NECESSARY TO SPEND 5000 OR MORE FOR THE FACET MACHINE?or can you suggest an alternative/
Hello! Can you tell me how can get the tools.

Legal
what is the price of this machine sir
did you say 60 40 soda lap?
Trevor do have a source for the cinnamon oil?
Hi Richard - Sorry to take so long to get back to you. The cinnamon oil you can get from any good Chemist. Costs about $13.00 for a small bottle. Just make sure that it is the oil from the bark of the Cinnamon tree. I think you will find that the essential oil type is. It is great stuff for most all clear gems.
Cheers. Thanks for the top notch video. I remembered a few things I'd forgotten, and learned a few things I didn't know.
Thanks Richard. Glad you liked it. Let all your friends know of it if it will help them as a lot people have tried to find it but it seems hard to find even though I have listed it all associated venues I could think of. Cheers Trev
Nice work but since when does a triangle have 4 sides? That's a trapezoid.
