- Sky News host Laura Jayes says women “expected more” from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese following the domestic violence rally in Canberra.
Mr Albanese found himself in hot water after claiming he had requested to speak at the event but was subsequently denied, to which Williams said that was a "full-out lie" before bursting into tears.
Williams took to social media that same day and said Mr Albanese was "abusing his power" by "aggressively stating" he was the prime minister, demonstrating his "entitlement" to speak at the rally.
“It just speaks to a tone deafness from Anthony Albanese,” Ms Jayes said.
“After Scott Morrison, I think women expected more from him and they don’t feel like they got that on the weekend.”
What Albo promised , and what he delivered were 2 different things
no 4 different things and not even relater!
Let’s see if Albo is as good with the aboriginals as he is with the ladies. 😂
I can feel a leadership challenge in the ALP coming very soon!
Even if that happens, ALP is too far gone.
He was expected to virtue signal and he delivered. The man is consistent in that regard.
Lol Albo Magoo youve done it again
Maggot mouth Magoo Albo.😂
He is not the only Prime Minister to have had a single parent poor little sleazy easy
If you don't expect anything form a Labor politician, then you won't get disappointed when the said Labor politician delivers nothing. The only thing you can expect from a Labor politician, especially prime minister Albanese, is to be told lies because that is all Labor is good at.
Yes, for Sky Albo was expected to solve the crisis there and then. Why wasn't anything done 4 years ago, 20 years ago. And all you lot do now is getting stuck into Albanese because of what allegedly happened during the rally. Shame on you Sky. Instead come up with ideas to solve this hideous problem. We all should.
This is an example where gun laws went too far, before you are triggered I mean we should have non lethal means of protecting ourselves ie pepper spray or tasers just think the latest mall stabbing probably would’ve happened if the security guards had tasers to deploy, unfortunately we are human beings and violence is a part of our makeup and will be for a very long time to come we can’t help who we are ( yes we can improve) but some people just snap and when they do we should have the right to have some personal protection. This isn’t just about women it affects everyone in society equally.

What do women expect to happen? A police officer and cameras in each household? How about taking personal responsibility for choosing a horrible partner?
Lambie would make a great PM if she ever decided to run for it.
Lol funny joke
