Nathan M I kind of see where he's coming from, a lot of the patience required for RPGs comes from the fact that you have to grind enemies which is only fun in a dopamine-reward Skinner box sense, whereas the patience for platformers comes from practicing and actually getting better at the game, which seems like a more "pure", less reptilian kind of fun. Basically I'm saying it's two different kinds of patience.
I love how dunkey is genuinely a decent gamer. He cleared the stage that only 52 others could clear. He has a serious level of patience and determination.
