1993 Donnington, Senna had the fastest lap while driving through the pit lane. Just saw a video on this on another channel, that is a record most likely not to be broken again..
FANTASTIC video as always but those are all driver records. For the cars: Most powerful engine: 1986 BMW M12 (1,400 hp) Lightest car: 1958 Lotus 12 (320 kg) Highest top speed: 2016 Mercedes (231.46 mph)
Isn't there only 1 driver who has ever placed 24th in an F1 race? I think it was the Indian driver who was only taken on because of the sponsors he brought...
The Longest F1 race is always open to interpretation. The only reason the 2011 Canadian GP is the longest is because as stated the red flag period is included - for no apparent reason - without it the race is actually 27 seconds over the 2 hour time limit (shorter than Monaco 1996 by 18 seconds) The 1951 Indianapolis is next on the list with a running time of about 3 hours 58 minutes. If you don't count it in your personal stats, the next choice is the 1956 German GP which was about 3 hours and 36 minutes. Which ever one you choose the point still does remain, it ain't being beaten anytime soon
What is often overlooked in the three-way equal qually session is that Damon came fourth _in an Arrows._ That would be similar to this year's Sauber being there (only with bigger gaps usually. Though he nearly won a race in it that year and would have had a 50p gasket or similar hadn't gone on the last lap).
I still enjoy watching old F1 races you can find on RUclips. Ahh... and Murray Walker of course. I don't remember the 1970s races so 1980s onwards for me. 34 cars !
Bottas holds longest pit stop after that stuck wheel nut on his Merc at the 2021 Monaco GP: 43 hours 15 minutes I know, I know, that wasn't really all pit stop 😂
How about 7 drivers championships ? How about 4 drivers championships in a row ? How about 8 constructor's championships in a row ? Just naming a few, front the top of my head.
7 drivers championships could be broken next year. 5 drivers championships in a row is the record. The 8 constructor championships is the most unlikely, but also dependent on the regulation changes.
You probably could remember 1969 Spanish Grand Prix having watched it live
Marcus Winkelhock has led every F1 race he took part in.
Most time between f1 races, Jan Lammers (82- Suzuka 92 ), Badoer came close
What about US Gran Prix at Indianapolis when only 6 cars started

4:46 Alonso.. challenge accepted
Indeed. Would not put it past Alonso to be world champion in 2027. Unlikely but not impossible.
Most races completed without a podium. I love Nico, but I can't see us having another driver with as many races but with no podium finished

Tempting fate with videos like this!!

No Hans Heyer's DNQ, DNF, and DSQ?

Winning from 22nd on the grid? Watch Checo in his Cadillac in 2026 😂😂. I’ll bet anyone $1000 😉
Does Sony Hayes break any of the oldest driver records? Sorry, couldn't resist 😅
No actually

Michael won five in a row between 2000 and 2004
