This reunion makes me a little emotional. Hiro's excitement upon seeing his mom is evident and priceless while Suki's reaction is rather sad. Hooman dad's kisses for Hiro is very heartwarming to watch.
If anyone think this state ment given by @Orel is wrong Proof is that a mother or a father dog can smell their puppies and identify weather it's their puppy or not
Protecting and caring for their young is instinctive in female domesticated dogs, just as it is for canines in the wild. If a litter of puppies remains with Mama long enough, their memory is imprinted and she will recognize the adult dogs as hers in later years.
Dog moms do recognise their “adult” pups and they treat them like adults unlike our human moms 🤓. Suki is very comfortable and content around the grown up Hiro, she knows he has a new family now and does not need her help to be groomed or comforted anymore.
Yeah, tbh I think Hiro behaved like that cuz he is still a pretty young dog that probably likes to play a lot, so he just wanted to play and Suki was not in the mood
@@pedrokayser rapid liquid - shibe meets owner after long time. There are more examples elsewhere of dogs being overjoyed from meeting a loved one but puppies may be a different story tho
Hiro was just the best puppy ever. I was so sad when they grew up i could only just now bring myself to watch this. Something inside me keeps worrying about him now though...i hope he is happy. His brothers seem happier in their new homes. Thanks for sharing hooman :)
It's bittersweet , but think from Suki's point of view. Can you imagine the unbearable heartache losing your babies and remembering them. Best wishes for a happily ever after Hiro.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Sweet puppy! For what it's worth, our Odin Inu just watched this video with very great interest. Odin loves TV, hates goats, horses and cows (much growling and snarling when they come on), likes otters and seals, and is fascinated by dogs, especially when they run off screen. He loved this one, so thanks from all of us!
She knows her baby but knows he's growing and happy. She's letting go but will always remember. He's a beautiful growing baby he looks so much like mom and dad so amazing.
Sad that Suki refuses to remember the potats. P.S. - I can't wait to see Kenzo reunite with Shiro. Shiro really warmed up to Kenzo before he left the nest.
Hiro looks amazing. 😀 So very good to see him again. ❤ Hooman, please tell new owner to get a harness for Hiro. Those types of leads can collapse his trachea with constant pulling on his throat. Harness is best & healthier. Collars are only for their ID tags, which I don't see on him, & not to to be pulled on a lead. He needs a nice one like Suki & Shiro have. They look so beautiful together. I wonder if Shiro would remember. I think so. 🐕❤ 🐕
I dont think dogs ever forget the scent of their own litters. My mom dog did the same when she met her daughter that we rehomed years ago. She even did the same to her own pups that were left behind to us. She doesn't give them kisses, but she still plays with them like how adult dogs do play bite
Dogs never forget and a mom never ever. And Hiro lying on floor with his belly up is a sign of submission and showing respect to his mom and Suki is like 'stay blessed young man'.
Sometimes I think it might be that way. Also, Shiro was nice to the 1st litter & after they left & new one's came along, he kind of "shielded his heart" People say, we shouldn't humanize dogs... bu we will never know what they really think or feel. But everything aside, they take such good care of these gorgeous dogs.
I was thinking of the possibility that she does remember Him but since the video. Is only 6 weeks after Hiro was rehomed that once Suki recognised or saw Hiro again here ..She instantly forgot the 6 week abscence between them ..just look at how she naturally snapped at Hiro inspecting milkshake bar ..it was the same way she did when potats were weened as pups but still try to sneak sips now & then it seems like she was familiar at the same time indifferent i could be wrong but just another possible explaination ...take care fren 😁🙏
Mother dogs donì't feel pain or heartbreak when their pups relocate. It's what would happen if they were left to their own devices; the mother chases the pup off the den and then they can either leave pack and move on to live their own lives or form a "pack" with their parents, where they are however submissive and more like pack-mates and friends than "family". Dogs don't live relationships like we humans do.
@@cristinapezzica6714 It also depends on what age they are relocated in nature. Also, when mother & adult pup meet in nature, she doesn't behave as if she doesn't know him. Also, look at Suki's eyes. They are not of "i forgot/ am ignoring you" but surrendered pain. And how come when pup did not forget (/ignore her) - how can Suki forget (/ignore him)? Suki did not behave this way with her first litter - Dango on their initial reunions (now she behaves as indifferently with them too). Also, she does not behave as if she forgot/ or is indifferent to her mother - she very much is chirpy when she meets her mother. Also, apart from the above, take into account dogs' (&Suki's) nature in general - they are never indifferent to other creatures (let alone their babies) - it is in very nature of dogs to be friendly, getting excited & loving those even after several years they even briefly met. Given everything, then look at her present behaviour for her kids.
