As a middle-aged-straight-guy who is into sports and classic heavy metal I have to say I cracked myself up when I said out loud at the beginning of this episode, “Oh that’s ALB’s Kate Spade purse! I really love that purse.” Haha 😂
If anyone else loves back-to-school shopping like me, but doesn't have kids or isn't in school, I'd highly recommend checking out local charities for foster/impoverished children! They usually have back-to-school drives, like buying a sturdy backpack and filling it with needed school items for kids, and it's so much fun to put everything together (plus it goes to a good cause). Thank you for the relaxing video, Angie! You have such cool shops up there, I'm super jealous.
WOW I got one of those as a kid from my teacher! It had my favorite bendy ruler which I kept for years... I only got rid of it while selling everything we had because the house we were renting got sold out from under us... When I got the bag from her I was so touched. It made me feel so loved and important and appreciated as a student AND person 🥲 I was one of the kids that really needed it, too. The calculator it came with felt awesome to use. I never thought to put one together/help out a drive like that. I'd like to soon, when I can.
Some things to add since I know and own some of these stuff: ①The stickers on the Pikachu grid note (10:12) is for labeling purpose; is it an exercise book or the book you use for homework, because those grid notes in Japan is commonly used on kanji writing class ②The notebook shown in 10:57 that you showed to Lor was actually a personal medical record journal! It’s a common thing in Japan, you write your allergies/illnesses and its symptoms plus the meds you’re regularly needed to cure/tackle such things, also vitamins/supplements you’re taking for daily nutrition. If you read Japanese it’s very helpful when you’re moving or traveling and needing medical emergency in the facilities you didn’t familiar with! ③Your Rilakkuma pen shown in 29:58 actually has a marker at the other end! It’s a special edition of Tombow’s Play Color 2 where it has pen and marker in one. I gotta raid Oomomo when visiting Canada 🥺🥺🥺

I love love LOVE ADR'd (post-recorded) dialogue in asmr. Something about the attention to detail is really nice to listen to. Another person that does it is Atmosphere where she post-records the dialogue synced with the acting. It seems labor intensive but so worth it.

I have an unreasonable obsession with stationary, I’ve spent so much money on stationary at this point, I probably wouldn’t be broke if I just saved it up, but the pastel highlighters and the felt-tip calligraphy pens call to me. This video has satiated my hunger for buying pens.

I just went in my 1st ever daiso store! They just put one in where I live and the whole time I thought of you and this video, it was one of the first videos I watched of yours! Can’t believe I’ve been watching for 2 years now! Always one of my fav ASMRists.
In terms of the set of fine liners making little blots when they’re left in one place a little longer, I’ve found all the fine liners I use do it. I use fine liners round all my illustrations to make them pop but I have to take a deep breath and do the full thing in one smooth continuous motion to get a good blob free line.
Everything you bought was so cute!! 💖 This is really inspiring me to dig into my own stationary stash and start writing. Also have to mention that it’s so nice to see other people wearing masks out and about still. 💕 Gotta love that community care.

Those emot pens are good when u use some ink from it, it doesn't really do that dot thing but when I first got them they also smudged (I'm left handed so that might be why but)
