Hello. I follow you even though I’m building a 2017 2.0. I’ve done a lot of mods so far. Rebuilt engine at(134,000 miles forged),larger billet wheel, CAI, 1700cc injectors, inter cooler, larger throttle body, spacers, e50. Haven’t gone big turbo as I have not be able to afford to rebuild the transmission and the purchase the turbo right now. But I was curious about the product you’re showing. Can you provide a small explanation please how this would be beneficial and would this be possible on a 2.0? Still learning about how the whole fueling thing works😂. Not gonna pretend like I do.
Well that's a good question, because for the Fusion Sport, well, technically, if you have the same Denso 250gph fuel pump, it can only supply enough fuel for 500 hp (engine), last time on the dyno, I could see the logs closing my TB at 5,700 rpms because of a severe lack of fuel, a few weeks ago, MY27FUSION pulled 490 WHP on the front wheels on a HUB, so the 265 can supply enought for 525 engine HP. But the pumps are running at %100, I hope with the 340gph, to supply enough fuel a %80 for 530 engine HP. But, anything under 450HP you should be fine if you have the same DENSO. Maybe the OEM Denso could be a very good upgrade if you have a 185 GPH...good luck, consult the Forums or companies who specializes in 2.0
part number is S627 for fuel pump filter from DW, I will have to confirm the PN for the pump, because most of them have a filter for whatever application, there is one with just the pump
9-305, I have this written on my notes, but I would contact DW directly and ask. I could be wrong, the the filter kit is good, they will know exact what is required.
Hi Roberto the part number is S627 for fuel pump filter from DW
We were able to fit a walbro 535 in the fusion sport, the walbro you have shown in the video will also fit with minor modifications.
Cool to know, Was not sure, I wanted to try, but since MYFUSION27 did the 340 swap, that's okay with me.
denso vs bosh fuel pump
