The best thing about your videos, is the lovely working relationship you have with your dad and the memories you will have. These moments are priceless. ☺️🙏
Ooh the end result is sooo gorgeous! I was kinda on the fence with the green color but man when he peeled the protective film off the black borders I was like oh man that looks incredible! And really ties all the window trims, roof line, etc. together for a more cohesive updated look. Great job!
Definitely a marmite moment there but each to their own. Anthracite is really popular at the moment and you can see why - it looks so modern and fresh. I wonder if we’ll get other colours like we did bath suites in the 80’s? Avocado frames anyone? 😂. Good job though and I won’t lie, it’s nice to see you back on these videos again!
That is a lovely composite door and a fantastic install 👍 good to see KC working again and off the golf course 😀 Them reciprocating saws are brilliant I have a Makita one, they are a great piece of kit.
0:40 Stu's been eating Hercules lunch, Full door and frame....no poblem! 💪 💪 💪 You guys have this door swap thing down to a science, Front doors are really important, it's the first impression you make when guests arrive. great job as always!
lovely door combi lads. duraflex was 1st system i fitted thirty odd year ago. you might already have one but tell kc to try a bahco fine tooth toolbox saw for cutting external cills & trims etc. (never use anything else) . keep up the sterling work. oh by the way what came 1st window fitting or bricklaying ?
No bricks were harmed in the making of this video 😂 Must admit I was cringing when dad was using a power tool above his head without wearing eye protection 😮
Ive just started being a window fitters mate, i am really struggling with the weight of most things, it is only my first week so if this something i will get stronger with and more used to in a few weeks time maybe?
Great video , but does anyone know a formula for working out how much hardcore stone you’d need to fill up a specific area ? Starting digging out for a patio Saturday 😂
Love a composite not sure off chartwell green on anthosite grey tho good job tip if you didnt know stu pack hinge side a few mm higher as it allows for a bit of clearance for bottom of the latch side great job mind 👌
stu crompton I think there will be a good trade in re-colouring upvc in 10 years. We are about to change from brown everything to black and possibly grey windows.
I'm not criticising the workmanship but when UPVC windows came in I thought they were almost for life, fit and forget, with no rot, no painting and only the occasional glass replacement. They were a far superior product than wood windows but what do we find, home owners changing perfectly good windows every couple of years, what that is doing to the environment god only knows. Wood is at least renewable. Is the problem pushy window salesmen persuading owners to renew just to keep their company in business telling customers "you have misted units better pull the whole window out"?
Stu and KC are most definitely the composite / PVC door and window masters. Top quality work fellas.
Sure kc would appreciate that I’m just the lacky 😁
@@Stucrompton1 don't do yourself down Stu, you are Daniel San to Mr Miyagi, lol :)

Thanks Ashley yeah the owners spent a lot on refurbishments and it all looks great.
Nice work. Not so sure about the mint green colour. Perhaps a light grey would look better but each to their own!

Top job lads :)
All I see around my area these days is black, and those light green front doors...wonder where that trend started 😁
bad n bourgeoisie can’t say I like the black frame, either door colour or white.
Great video , but does anyone know a formula for working out how much hardcore stone you’d need to fill up a specific area ? Starting digging out for a patio Saturday 😂
Nice work lads! Were you in Burscough recently? I swear it was you anyway!
Hi Nicholas no we wasn't there the Parbold
Where's the door from?
What about foam showing under cill ?
Yeah I noticed that when editing, were going tomorrow doing another jobs so will sort it then 👍
@@Stucrompton1 lovely job always enjoy watching you 2 working together
Stu, if you don’t mind me asking are you are: builder, renovator/property developer?
Great job. I am currently looking for someone to fit a composite door. I wonder the costs. But it’s a two men job.👍
Good. I like
I’ll come over from America to work for you
How far out do you go for work stu? 🙏🏻 Wakefield?
bit far mate
stu crompton ah no worries worth an ask. Keep vids coming, you’ve made me do a part time bricklaying course at college 👍🏻
The whole lot should be mint green the black looks terrible can the black be painted over?
Hi Robert that black is anthracite grey to match everything else facias gutters et cetera it’s what the customer wanted pal
Senior golf Progress Well you did a great job on delivering what the customer wanted I suppose my taste is just different.
Great work as always. How do I contact you for a quote on some work buddy?
lovely door. Just need k render on the outside now.
It is being rendered Sam 👍
Its a beautiful

That’s exactly what I do bud, great minds think alike 😁
Not sure what to make of that green colour im guessing it was the females choice though. Nice job Stu.
It was indeed mate.
Steady I have just had my front door done in that colour looks fantastic
How’s the BB clothing line coming along?
not good
stu crompton - keep moving forward mate... doing a cracking job 👍
Tidy install
The colour!!
Never dreamt about a door lol
What KC tatoo means?
Beautiful colour door but why on earth would it be paired with black trim, its horrendous.
Hi mate you must be colourblind that black is grey
@@seniorgolfprogress83 is it really? Looks jet black to me. Need to get my eyes tested.
Cool
Изванредан тим.Увек интересантни и инспиративни.
What was wrong with the original door and window ?? Seems a waste tbh
Hi Dennis the original door was shot at it very draughty it wasn’t fixed at the top and it was time to go👍
before was better
i agree it just needed cleaning buddy
Dmitry Gureev totally agree , was hoping someone else would say it too. 👍👍
The company I work for expect me to do them doors on my own they are heavy
Duraflex glazing beads for side panels with slab inserts are the worst ever
I know you’re right pal but there is a knack to it
Colour green not good😲😭👮🙌. black or white can't go rong.👍
Not good for you john fine but when our customer chooses green in the brochure we could t put black in, black is nice too tho :)
