I really like the evolution of your channel. Making players aware of these fair value and affordable guitars helps more people pierce the financial entry barrier.
Max, I'm glad you said it. I'm 66 years old and have been playing since 1968, and I've never liked the Tele 3 barrel bridge (and I've owned a few). I'll take a 6 saddle bridge, any day. Even better that they're using a hardtail strat bridge on this guitar.
Did a setup on a brand new Mex Strat for a spar of mine just the other day. It needed practically everything doing, and then some. I've done a few Eart's now, two of mine and a couple for good spar. The Eart's needed almost nothing doing... and all play beautifully. Ta Max.
Just received my E-TT yesterday. It is flawless and I couldn't be happier. My EART E-335 convinced me that I couldn't go wrong. I would have preferred getting the sunburst but had to settle for White because of availability... still beautiful.
I think EART is knocking it out of the park. The quality and playability in many ways surpasses that of the big name brands in this price tier and that says a lot about what a company's dedication is towards the end consumer. Having a quality sounding and playing instrument should not be out of reach for an average or aspiring musician. EART is a company that I feel delivers a great value. I would take one of these over an Epiphone or Squire of the same price any day of the week.
Nice video . I notice d that The Eart and the M Musi Have similar features , headstocks , basicly almost everything ., and these roasted maple , compound neck radius , stainless steel frets are starting to show up on everything . Is there one factory contracting the manufacture of all these guitars ? BY the way , I just got a Musi , and yes , they are as good as they say !
Max, That White Eart is total awesomeness! the E-TT looks great too, very modern. Thanks for your reviews on this small company that makes affordable quality instruments. Have a rockin Merry Christmas! 🔥🎸🌲
I love thinline tele's. Yet, can't afford a Fender one & I don't like the ones that Squier & Schecter has put out & I love Schecter, but seeing this, I'm sold & I'm glad they made one in white.
@GuitarMAXMusic Hey...first time I watched your videos. I got delivered yesterday a T-380. I was going to return it unopened, then saw your video...got me thinking maybe the ETT. Now I'm thinking maybe to keep the 380. I am a 72 yr old single note lead style player, but need the support of rhythm and harmony. Anyway...I like all music, but grounded in the late 60's music. I value your opinion...I'm thinking maybe I could do well with the 380, (I have 2 Godin ssh, and one Squire sss). So for all around playing, T-380, or ETT ? I would really appreciate your input. Thanks. Wilson
What would REALLY make me happy is if EART would sell just Strat & Tele necks with the C-profile, compound radius, roasted wood, stainless frets and heel-end truss rod adjuster. I'd buy a lot of those for guitars that I already have... :)
I really enjoy your channel. I have been wanting to buy a Tele copy and after seeing your review of the Eart and going to Amazon and looking at the Eart NK-C1 I am very impressed. I did want to know how you would rate this Eart Tele to a G&L Tribute Tele. (not the "Placentia series"
The combo/composite radius on the fretboard is neat. I bought a Chinese Telecaster knockoff as a joke, and it literally blows away every single guitar I've ever owned. It's radius is 16' at the the neck-maybe it's also a composite neck as well. Does it fret-out-Oh yeah-the High E string will even pop out of the nut-but the bends and chords are so ridiculous-I don't care-LOL. Happy Holidays, man!
That's different enough. It's got a rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, the buckers of a '72 Thinline and the guard of a *'69* Thinline! Love the hybrid nature of this model. I favor a maple fingerboard on my Fender-style electric guitars (so ironic that in December 2021 I got an Epiphone Negative V with maple fingerboard) and rosewood or ebony on my basses. I would entertain the idea of getting this if I were just starting out and had yet to get a semi-hollow Telecaster of this type.
Its a nice guitar ,Back when I started playin ,There were no choices ,You either had gibson or fender in 1979 to 80 and they cost 800 to 1200 bucks back then ,I wouldent have complained if i had an eart back then. The only others were sears or peavey had just started making a T 15 with an built in amp in the case , Im thankful for imports.
Hi Max, I did some research on the name and it stands for ? Electronic Art hence the word they use EART after watching this video I'm buying one Merry Christmas All The Best For 2023 !
They sure are making some nice, affordable guitars, and are listening to what potential customers want. The Eart website says: "EART Musical Instrument Co., Ltd. (Electroacoustic Art) Express Your Creativity, Amaze the World"
@@picksalot1 I wrote that tag line for Eart!! Some Eart employees later started Latitude guitars. It's a great company that loves it's customer's input, they want to be the best!
Love you content and merry chrismas. you have inspired me to play the guitar, hope I can play like you one day. how many years have you been playing guitar?
Would love to see you do a top 5/7/10 guitars you’ve demoed that are the best bang for the buck. I’m interested how you think value brands may rank like Xavier vs firefly donner Eart grote , vs like aio wolf and on into squier

Well this throws a wrench in things , been eyeing a Harley Benton , Fesley or Peavy for a platform to mod. But holding out because I have a suspicious feeling my wife might be buying me one for Christmas. I don't want to hurt her feelings by buying one , so I'll impatiently wait a few more days before pulling the trigger. Nice demo and review bro!✌️🤘 MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! 🎄⛄ May you all wake up to a new guitar under the tree 🎄✌️
I can appreciate the retro look but not nearly as much as I appreciate being able to intonation. So I guess I'm just saying I appreciate the moderate bridge. The pick ups got cool looking covers
OK, price aside, if you walked into a shop never having heard of Eart and played this guitar, what would you compare its quality and playability to? How far out of its price range does it hit?
Hey Max, I guess Phillip McKnight talked to the Eart guys and said it's pronounced "eee-art" with two syllables. If that's the case they probably should have hyphenated it like E-ART.
I wish companies like EART made explorer and flying v style guitars. I know with gibson's anti-competitive practices that probably isn't in the cards, but it sucks that the cheapest budget copies are $650 from epiphone with only 1 color option. And if you want modern features like stainless steel frets or 24 frets on your explorer/v, you're pretty much stuck paying $1000+ to companies like schecter and ESP.

The body cavity cutout should be in the shape of a skull. This guitar imitates historic violin styling right now and, seriously, screw violins especially historic ones.
Actually they should do a Fender/Squier Contemporary Starcaster thing, and make it semi-hollow, with no holes in the top at all. That would give you the option of a cleaner & more modern look, or with holes any shape the user wants with some router use...
@@madmat6502 Any shape the customer wants, now there is an idea. The guitars are CNC anyway so why not. Customer uploads a graphic file, they cut it out and finish and deliver.
@@superblondeDotOrg cool suggestion !! The way the guitar market is going ( a slow saturation of reasonably priced quality ) a simple cost effective individual customisation would be the way to go for manufacturers.
I like the idea of unconventional or custom sound hole shapes as an option, that would be cool! But if you don't want a sound hole, how about using the chambered part of the guitar body as a storage compartment with access through a routed hole in the back, like a control cavity with no controls? You could store all kinds of things in there...
I hate to see it but it's happening across all the 'lower-tier guitars, and the used market too. Inflation is affecting everything. I got some Epis and Squiers while they were still fairly cheap and I'm glad now. Wish I'd bought an Eart too!
One thing this channel does, presumably, is keep these "lower end" guitar companies competing with one another. True capitalism at work to the advantage of the customers.
